Anyone who watches Gutfeld would think this a one of Tom Shillue's parodies of Biden, but it's the real deal.

The big guy is asked a question and he goes off to so many far and distant places that... well...take a look for yourself.

There is no way he's allowed to run in 2024. No way.

The big guy is so out of touch with reality.

Americans maintain an increasingly negative view on the economy

Americans’ already poor views on the U.S. economy have gotten worse in September, a new Gallup poll finds.

The monthly update reports that only 20% of adults find economic conditions “excellent” or “good,” while 32% call them “only fair.” This is compared to the 48% that find them “poor.” The overall positive rating is down from 23% in August, while the “poor” rating is up from 42%―the highest Gallup has seen in a year.

Additionally, nearly three-quarters of Americans say conditions are getting worse, while 24% say they’re improving. Americans’ subpar economic ratings have been the norm since the pandemic, but their evaluations have turned slightly worse in September after improving a bit over the summer.

And yet, for all the talk of doom and gloom, the economy is booming!

Many of those jobs are in government or are part time.

Maybe Biden thinks that all Americans are doing well because he thinks that all American families get kickbacks from foreign governments and organizations like his does?

And how much are those 300k jobs making per hour? How much are they paying out vs getting?

"Oh look! 300k jobs added!!!" is not a good argument to make for the claim of a "booming economy".

    Another thing to look at.

Leftists like to throw out numbers that benefit them but love to ignore the details because that doesn't benefit them.

Not disagreeing. But it is a measuring stick to unemployment, and the overall condition of the economy. It been used for decades as a measure of the economy

And those of us at the bottom do not care about what is used to measure the economy. We see it far clearer than those at the top.

A bit mumbly but his reasoning was sound.

You seem to mistake thoughtfulness for... whatever.

Let's put it this way. The way that it is measured is made in the way which benefits the rich. It helps the rich decide how to handle their businesses. Whether and how they should invest/not invest their assets in order to gain more. It does not take into account what those at the bottom have to deal with. That is why when you see such numbers as "300k jobs added" they don't tell you how much those jobs make per hour. And when they do have a table for such its based on "median" or "average" gross yearly income. And its that number that you'll see the most. Making things appear better than they are. And it is those numbers that economic policies are based on. Any policies based on lower than that are policies that are used to garner votes...not what is best for the economy (because the poor make up the majority of voters*).

If you want to do what is best for the economy you make economic policies based on what is best for those at the lower end of the economy. If you can raise those at the bottom end, then you'll end up raising the whole.

    * for context here is what Bing AI says about voter income:

Does anyone still maintain this man does not suffer from severe cognitive decline? Forget politics. From a humane perspective Biden is a sad commentary on what many of us ourselves may experience. Health is a precarious thing.

    And you OK with that?

Is there any question how this country has gotten so screwed up? No intelligent person would cast a vote for this feeble mass of wasting flesh.

I think at this point anyone with a brain would look for an alternative candidate.. But I know, is not about quality representation and everything to do with pissing off the other brainless letter voters ;)

    Ain't that special
