“I’d be happy to support virtually any one of the Republicans — maybe not Vivek [Ramaswamy] — but the others that are running would be acceptable to me, and I’d be happy to vote for them,” the retiring senator said Friday in an interview with CBS’s Norah O’Donnell.

“I’d be happy to vote for a number of the Democrats too,” he continued. “It would be an upgrade, in my opinion, from Donald Trump and perhaps also from Joe Biden.”

I agree with Romney’s sentiments. Almost any other republican would be an upgrade over Trump. Also, almost any other democrat would be an upgrade over Biden. It seems most Americans agree with Romney in that 57% of all Americans don’t want Biden to run again, 55% of all Americans don’t want Trump to run again either. Questions 14 and 15.

Almost all polls for the presidency offer only two choices, Biden or Trump. But here’s a poll that gave 4 choices. It showed: All Americans Biden 36%, Trump 35%, RFK Jr. 19%, West 6%, Other 1%. Question 5 below the narrative. That’s 26% of all Americans that would vote for someone else other than Trump or Biden. This is before the no labels party come up with their candidates which probably will up that 26%. It gets worse for both Trump and Biden when one looks at the independent column of voters. The election deciders. Independents only: RFK Jr. 33%, Trump 30%, Biden 27%, West 8%. This definitely shows the great desire for different candidates other than Trump and Biden by most Americans which seem destined to be the two major party’s candidates.

It seems to me both major parties are telling most Americans to stick it where the sun don’t shine when it comes to their presidential nominees.

 

Romney is in the large elite radical lefty group that is selling out the USA. Naturally he is against Trump, duh.

I never called you a cynic. That would be a childish attempt to distract from the topic by labeling the person I may not agree with. Trump is known for doing that. The term "better" is subjective, so any dem is a better choice for some. Those with a job or a gun may not agree.

I don't think theres a lot of people who care what Romney thinks anymore. Not for a good long while now. Actually, scratch that, Romney seems to be a pretty good indicator- whoever he doesnt like is someone we should consider to oppose the corrupt centralized bureaucratic establishment. Romney is just another Bush-era neocon that is best ignored.

Romney is a democrat. He has little, and I mean very little, values that aren't democrat values. He didn’t even have that guts to run for another term because he knew us Utahns would vote his butt out. I don’t know why we even voted for him to begin with. Gun control and government funded healthcare. He’s not welcome in Utah politics
