Hold it right there. The mistake you’re making is that the left has standards.

She was replaced with a Jewish guy who has made millions by sitting on the boards of pharmaceutical companies. He is the kind of guy who is down with government ordered Covid mandates for his own personal profit. In a country founded by WASPs, would you like to take a guess about how many WASP men run Ivy League Schools? If we are going to talk about representation, we should be talking about that,

This garbage human atleast isn't in such a powerful position anymore. If it were a straight white male, being fired long ago would have been the result of such atrocious behavior

Kind of sets a standard for any graduate. If SHE can cheat and become President of a University why shouldn’t they? Guess you need to check the right boxes though:)

Now the left is saying plagiarism can be weaponized. Man, when the left circles the wagons they really circle the wagons, they're almost defending the theft of the intellectual work of others.

Plagiarism took down Biden's presidential run, so why shouldn't it take down a college president?

what is amazing is that she is an academic light-weight-something like 11 articles and NO books published in 25+ years and yet she ends up being president of perhaps the most prestigious university in the world: why-the same reason why Jackson was appointed the supreme court by senile Joe. Racial quotas. No way a white man or woman with a resume as thin as Gay's would have been appointed president of a school the caliber of Harvard.

WELL since friends of mine were involved in that decision I will educate you. After Robert Bork was "borked" the Democrats realized they could stop highly qualified nominees with lies and scare tactics. When Marshall resigned, Senate Majority Leader told White House Counsel attorney Lee Liberman (Otis) that if Bush didn't appoint a black to fill "the Black seat" that candidate would be Borked. Thomas who had been a strong student at the College of the Holy Cross and top half of his class (better than Clinton) at Yale law, had been on the court of appeals for IIRC about 1.5 years. He had strong conservative credentials and was one of a few blacks with appellate court credentials, and who wasn't a raving leftist. So he was picked. Given the parameters forced upon Bush by the democrats, Thomas was the best qualified candidate

    In other words:
    To fill a "Racial Quota"...
Even GOP Presidents are guilty of that, and Thomas (appointed by Bush41) is the living proof...

The difference, and it is a huge one, is that race was considered to keep the Pol Pot left from abusing power and destroying a nominee for not towing the line. Ms. Gay and the ditz who can't tell you what a woman is? That IS the abuse of power.

While still denying she stole the intellectual work of others while presenting it as her own, she's still playing the race hustle. Perhaps she didn't notice the other two college presidents sitting next to her in congress were white, one already bailed out and all three took heat.

Disgraced former Harvard president pens New York Times op-ed attacking racial 'campaign' against her

"Never did I imagine needing to defend decades-old and broadly respected research, but the past several weeks have laid waste to truth. Those who had relentlessly campaigned to oust me since the fall often trafficked in lies and ad hominem insults, not reasoned argument. They recycled tired racial stereotypes about Black talent and temperament. They pushed a false narrative of indifference and incompetence," Gay wrote.

She continued to repeatedly suggest that criticism against her was racially motivated.

"It is not lost on me that I make an ideal canvas for projecting every anxiety about the generational and demographic changes unfolding on American campuses: a Black woman selected to lead a storied institution. Someone who views diversity as a source of institutional strength and dynamism. Someone who has advocated a modern curriculum that spans from the frontier of quantum science to the long-neglected history of Asian Americans. Someone who believes that a daughter of Haitian immigrants has something to offer to the nation’s oldest university," the guest essay read.

if the Democrats had not threatened a borking, Thomas would not have been appointed. The good news is he's one of the best justices in the last fifty years. I don't agree with every point from a close college friend, now a highly regarded law professor, but most of what he says here is accurate IMHO

no one forced harvard to appoint a light weight academic based on racial quotas. and Thomas's credentials as a jurist were far higher than Gay's as a academic. No one claimed Thomas cheated to earn his JD.

Kinda sucks when a person who is unqualified for the job and gets promoted to a $900k gig, insults Jews, is racist, and stole the work of others can play the victim card and be defended for it simply because of the boxes she checked.

Explains why the college grads I have gotten at work are completely worthless. The liberal ideology is toxic, plain and simple. They believe plagiarism is acceptable at institutions of learning, they believe a man can become a woman, they believe drugs should be decriminalized. Their ideology is beyond a what I would call a normal persons comprehension being all I hangout with are conservatives.

Because the Dems in Congress demanded it, fortunately there was a qualified one who knows what is anti-Semitism and had a stellar record in his career already.

Compare Gay's resume (11 articles in 26 years and zero books) with her most obvious peer, Yale's president

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Salovey

With John D. Mayer he significantly expanded the scope of the concept and authored several of the field's seminal papers, arguing that people have wide ranging abilities pertaining to emotional control, reasoning, and perceptivity.[9] ...
In all, Salovey has authored or edited thirteen books translated into eleven languages and published more than 350 journal articles and essays.
