None of your explanation matter. Fact is very simple. Majority Americans voting for DEMS last 40 years. You can explain all you want , that is not changing voting habits. Majority American keep voting DEMS.

My explanation matters, as the truth has inherent value. And I am objectively correct about what I said. Culture is absolutely moving more rightward.

Is that your view or you can back that with FACTS like showing numbers , charts, vote count?

If you can’t show charts , voting result, number… then I have no interest about your “Opinion”. your opinion is just an opinion and it doesn’t mean anything.

    I've demonstrated the facts.

You can believe it to be opinion, but I am objectively correct.

I have the objective reality on my side. Again, I've already addressed this. I am objectively correct with what I said.

As I have said your “objective” mean absolutely nothing to win an election.

Winning election comes down to vote. who gets the most vote, who gets the most EC.

7 out of 8 presidential election, Majority American voted for DEMS.

It absolutely means plenty to win elections. It just takes time. Culture doesn't change overnight lol. And like I said I addressed that already. I'm objectively correct.

Aha .. now I get it, you don’t disagree with the number. You just ‘HOPE” someday majority American will vote Republican.

Well , I don’t see any reason not to have “HOPE” regardless how unrealistic that is. it’s a good mechanism to deny reality and live in “la-la Land”.

If I believe in polls then Hillary Clinton would have been POTUS and Trump would have been still in Celebrity Apprentice , pretending to fire people.

But I see why MAGA loves polls. If I can’t win actual election, but I have no interest changing my view, I need some “Hope” to think I am on the right side. So yea, I too would talk about polls all day long.

It isn't a hope, it's the reality of how thr world works. Culture is moving rightward, and politics is downstream of culture.

    You are projecting.

In a 1500m or mile race, how often does the leader with one lap to go end up crossing the finish line first…?

I think they're trying to say that a majority voted for Dems in the past, but that isn't necessarily what the future holds. Faith in the past is what gave France the Maginot Line.

The thing is, polls DO have value in predicting the future as much as history does in predicting the same. Putting too much faith in one while ignoring the other is almost a form of hubris. The importance of polling is that it indicates the strengths and weaknesses of each candidate. Problem: Considering how much crazy Trump has inside his skull, Biden really shouldn't be doing this badly - and yet, here we are. The DNC needs to do polling to figure out what to do about it - and then actually DO something about it - because having a majority of voters today means nothing tomorrow if they stay at home because their candidate sucks.

I don't think you can write off the possibility that Trump will pull off a win here, both in electoral points and real voter numbers.
