uh that has nothing to do with my point. I despise progressive taxation since it gives congress power it was never intended to have

And Trump lacks a moral compass for governance while Biden has one, you don't disagree, you just can't admit my point is superior in this case.

Biden demonstrated his own lack of moral compass by his dishonorable action in Afghanistan.

And that in no way is equivalent to Trump's lack of moral character and dictatorial proclivities stemming from his malignant narcissistic mental disorder. Seeking a comfort rabbit hole with this false equivalence and being unwilling to acknowledge that should be something to ponder.

Trump's unfitness is not an argument against Biden's unfitness. I will vote for neither.

Good for you doubling down on false equivalencies and that's the beauty of living in American democracy. Putin loves third party candidates that help Trump.

Neither Republicans nor Democrats have a claim on votes when they nominate unfit candidates. And btw, the idea of "false equivalence" implies there are degrees of unfitness. I disagree; unfit is unfit, period.

Deflecting and slight shifts of the goal posts don't make my point any less salient, I know you know this and I also know you will ponder twice about defacto helping Putin and hurting democracy. On that note, the floor is yours.

Can anyone explain Haley's comment from last night? She said that the first party who drops their 80 year old candidate first will win. I understand her statement about Trump dropping out, but does she really think that anyone but Biden could beat Trump?

These people are in serious internal conflict in order to remain relevant or near power. That's the only explanation that makes any sense because they are stepping all over any oaths they have ever taken.

There's no deflection. I don't believe that democracy is in any way endangered or "hurt" in this election. Our institutions are up to the challenge. A Trump win might very well be welcomed by Putin. A Biden win would almost certainly continue the climate madness. Both are unfit; I'll vote for an alternative.

    @Turtledude

See now, y'all need to get this **** straight.
Turtle here says a 3rd party is a vote for Biden. Hey Now here says a 3rd party is a vote for Trump.

Make up your minds, fight out where our 3rd party vote is to be apportioned for yourselves.

Simple solution for you, to clarify things in your mind, do some research on who funds "no labels". Surely, you can do that.

"Among the No Labels backers are donors who contributed millions of dollars to Republican causes, such as past GOP presidential candidates and super-PACS connected to Republican congressional leadership, and several who have poured money into the Democratic presidential campaigns of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden. One donor provided a big chunk of political cash to Donald Trump. Generally, these No Labels supporters, who mostly made contributions of $5,600 to its 2024 project, appear to favor conservative candidates, though many have played both sides of the aisle, financing Republican and Democratic politicians."

So, you agree that No Labels donor base are republicans. How does that help Biden and hurt Trump?

You're right... "No Labels" has said they're interested: https://apnews.com/article/no-label...t-conspiracy-d8c3d11783d63ac8d09183c939c0bc52

However... no third-party presidential candidate has amounted to 'diddly-squat' in modern times, but for the masses of us "Independents" nearly anything would be better than a Trump-vs-Biden cage match....

There are No Labels donors from both parties. I don't care who they help or hurt.

Nonsense, the main significant donors of No Label are Rs and historically, third party candidates hurt the democrats especially in swing states. So who do you think a third party candidate will hurt more? This is a question that you fear to address.
