I looks like if one wants to commit murder, go to California and take a bong rip first. Do you think that is reasonable?

As we see more reports of knife violence, I believe we need our ever incompetent politicians to take up the issue. This poor deceased lad should be used as a spearhead for addressing knife violence.

As for the girl; she skated away on a defense that would only work in CA. She murdered the guy

Smoke pot + kill someone = no big deal

Drink whiskey + kill someone with your car = your life is over

This is ridiculous. I cannot fathom what the jurors were reasoning in this case.
Take this to the bank: smoking pot did not induce any condition where this female would stab someone even once, let alone 108 times. Pot does not take over your mind. Alcohol is worse for that. She should be held responsible for his death. Hopefully his family will take it to civil court.
This is a case where the jury, imo, got it wrong, however I have not read the instructions to the jury before deciding, maybe there is a hidden factor that was revealed in court, but I doubt it.

In wacko lefty land if your high you can't really commit a crime. I'm sure this is going to make the state a better more safe place lol.

I wonder if the man had done this to her instead of her to him if the punishment would be the same

There is a link between cannabis use and forms of psychosis, potentially including induced schitzophrenia. Its not yet clear whether cannabis use increases the risk of psychosis or whether people who are already more at risk for psychosis are also more likely to use cannabis, perhaps even as a remedy to try mitigate the onset of psychosis. It could even be that it causes psychosis in some and cures it in others... As legalization/decriminalization proliferates, the studies into the cause of the link continue and progress. There is still much that isn't known about how weed interacts, both biologically and psychologically, mostly because of it having been totally banned for such a long time. Modern medicine is still playing 'catch up' as far as weed goes.

When my ex broke my foot, ribs and chipped a tooth, the judge said, she had a reason, she was drunk. I've heard plenty of like stories from other people too. Seems this womanhood victim is contagious. !!

So, would a knife registration law and a waiting period have prevented this tragedy?

    Cantinas induced psychosis ?

    WTAF is that ?

The only thing I ever wanted to “kill off” when I partake, is a Peanut Butter and Jelly sammich.

I honestly dont think I have ever met anyone who partakes that gets violent from the weed, unless it was mixed.

I think the Jury in this case was a little baked because they bought this story

Another obtuse adjudication because it was a woman. It is amazing this still prevails in courtrooms.

Does anyone remember about ten years ago when a marijuana user outbreak caused several people to turn into super-heated, violent, mutant monsters? Where they stripped down to their birthday suits, attacked people, ate faces, and the police kept shooting them and it didn't put them down? Remember that? It was blamed on marijuana.

It happened, that was the excuse that let her off. This runs counter to the theory that marijuana is a "harmless drug" that should be universally legalized. It seems that the stuff they are growing now is much stronger than the pot college students from my generation smoked.
