I'm sorry you're mischaracterizing reality as "hatred".

Do you not see Democrats passing government mandates about electric car manufacturing and usage across the Nation? When was it California dictated that no more ice cars could be sold?

Pointing fingers and fixing blame is definitely expressing hatred, or disdain at a minimum. Why do you deny it?

That's pretty ironic since you're trying to blame corporations for the mandates and the dictator orders of Democrats.

It sounds like you hate corporations and you also hate looking at where the blame actually lies at.

Anyone who's remotely paying attention can see the Democrats are pushing this.

But you're obviously more interested in trying to falsely blame corporations and hate on them. How very democratic....

Could that be because EV used sales are selling relatively new cars where ICE used cars could be tens of years old. Everyone knows that as soon as a new car leaves the forecourt the price drops hugely immediately. And everyone forecasted that as EV cars sell more, the price of new EVs will also drop effecting the sale of used EVs

    This!^
I like when a leader has the integrity to change directions or adapt when things decisions don't work as planned, unlike someone else we know.

Glad he pivoted but that’s because the auto industry informed him that it would be disastrous and now they could show it. Then again an intelligent person knew from the get go an EV mandate was idiotic. Then again Leftists normally don’t care how much destruction their policy causes. DEI? Lockdowns? Defund the police? Open borders? They’ve been swinging for the fences lately and failing over and over and over again.

Still waiting for a plane crash only to find out the people operating and servicing the planes were barely qualified to do either. Waiting for the excuses when we all KNOW exactly what it’s going to be.

No one has said EV’s are perfect or useful in all situations but you made a specific argument that they are seeing a decline.

Did you mean they were facing a decline in certain sectors because overall they seem to be growing steadily and they are expected to reach double digits this year alone.

That makes me question my life choices because I have bought two of the vehicles on that list #5 and #10

    Oh well, they are pretty!

Progress and advancement? Wishful thinking sir. Waste of tax dollars is more like it. EVs would never have sold at all without significant government subsidies.

They were warned about these things over and over and over again but they refused to listen. Now they are beginning to realize just how foolish they were in going full speed ahead before thinking it through.

Worldwide growth alone shows your statement is inaccurate. If you want to remove subsidies to EV’s we should also do so for oil/gas.

Personally, I do many road trips. I'm going to keep my old '04 BMW Z4, thanks. I live in Colorado, my son lives in Georgia, my brother in Arizona, a close cousin in Seattle, and many close friends in California (where I'm from) and NYC (where I lived for ten years). There aren't enough charging stations to make those trips in an EV, and it would be annoyingly time consuming.

Our electrical infrastructure isn't capable of handling the enormous amounts of electricity that would be required for millions more EVs. That has to be addressed first, or we'll have rolling blackouts all over the place.

As far as I can tell, the public is doing this for them.

How is the electricity generated? Answer: Burning Fossil Fuels!

EVs are NOT a move away from Fossil Fuels!

There is more than one way to generate electricity, but that's not the problem. You can generate all the electricity required, but if the grid is not up to the strain, it doesn't matter.

lol…they used to say the same things about early automobiles.
Reactionaries always feel threatened by progress.
Hydrogen cars will come next, but eventually some newer technology will supersede ICE vehicles.

Not yet, but they plan to launch them this year

    • DETROIT – General Motors is offering buyouts to U.S. Buick dealers that don’t want to make investments in the brand’s transition to exclusively offer all-electric vehicles domestically by 2030, the automaker confirmed Friday.

GM offers to buy out Buick dealers that don't want to invest ...
It's like many people don't want them and they're to prone to have things break and expensive to fix. The mileage isn't there and neither is there enough charging stations. I would also think a lot of value is lost with electric
