And that the homeless, especially illegal immigrants aren't counted in the poverty rate because no one knows exactly how many there are.

You attack the author to discredit the book's content.

    It's an apology for ignorance.

If everyone thought like you on this forum, you'd only be arguing with conservatives.

Because of the authors I know what's in it. If they weren't enough I was part of all the discussions about the committee and it's information gathering process before the report came out. Hell we'd discussed here very nearly every worthwhile aspect of it to death before the book was ever published. The committee began with a premise and brooked no interference in finding the 'facts' they wanted to prove and by refusing to seat anyone but never Trumpers on the committee they made sure no one else would read or believe their fabrications.

I'm pretty sure this was not an easy decision. It certainly required some deep soul-searching on your part.

You voted twice according to your political opinion and, very understandably so, for what you considered your interests.

Now, in the present situation, you have decided to vote according to your conscience. One can only respect your decision.

You say you're almost a "redneck conservative"; I don't know what exactly you mean by that;, but in any case, I don't believe the majority of rural so-called "rednecks" are MAGA extremists. I believe and I hope many "rednecks" will realize where Trump will lead the country, if elected.

His program is merely revenge, retribution and more goodies for the rich people.

Biden is ertainly far from perfect, but he proposes to move forward. He has done great things: his infrastructure program is expensive, but it is an investment that has been badly needed for years and years; the economy is booming (it recovered the quickest in the whole western world), unempyment is very low, inflation is still too high, but is coming down.

Now he has proposed a strong bipartisan border protection law, the strongest that was ever proposed, but the repubs, under order from Trump, has rejected it; that clearly shows that the repubs don't really want to solve the border problem but need to keep it as a political argument. Besides, immigration brings a lot of cheap labor for medium-size companies (the big ones don't dare to employ them as they are more visible).

Florida, Texas, Arizona - nearly all the moderate temperature states rank high in homelessness.

Even though that would be standing for what she believed to the depth of her soul was a lie?

I wouldn’t know how to do that. How would you do that?

Yeah well, her constituents elected a patriot (given who her father is … who knew?) they are the ones that put a single fraudulent conman before their country. They are the ones that failed America.

Liz Cheney proudly stood for the Constitution and These United States that she swore to protect and defend. She lived up to that oath, no matter the cost, and can live proudly as an American patriot.

    She chose her country!

So, she voted along party lines, sadly that didn't help the state of Wyoming.. She was replaced because she neglected the state and people that elected her to fight for them, their jobs and economics..

She really did sux as a state representative bro..

If ALL she did was stand up for the Constitution and her Country when the chips were down she did the JOB Wyoming elected her to do, it says so in the oath of office she swore to.

Wyoming let her down when they should have stood by her. Wyoming disgraced itself.

Elizabeth Cheney stands tall because she stood for OUR country as she promised to do!

You keep saying that, but it's just not true.

Wyoming sent her to Washington to protect the Constitution. It says so in the job description:
"The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution"
U.S. Constitution, Article VI, clause 3

She took that as seriously as a heart attack. What did Wyoming expect, I know they can read.

No, we sent her there to represent the state of Wyoming and to better that state, she did one and not the other.. It's not real hard to find a flunky to vote along party line in Washington, but it takes a fighter to get legislation done for your state and that where Liz failed..
