Riots intended to overthrow the government of the United States, or to kill the VP... are NOT. BTW, this doesn't necessarily mean that overthrowing the government is always, per se, bad. There might be legitimate reasons to pursue that. But, if you try, make sure you succeed, or you'll end up in prison. Anybody who tries and fails has to be prepared for the consequences.
A commentator on Fox News summed it up pretty well. Since 2016, there have been three people running for president, Hillary Clinton, Biden and Trump. All three of them have accused of mishandling government documents. The evidence shows that all three were guilty. The only one who has been charged is Trump. Hillary got to destroy evidence and Biden improperly stored with the junk in his garage. Yep, only the Republican gets charged. The Democrats walk. Biden gets off because he's too senile to stand trial. What an excuse!
It's wildly disonest to pretend the cases were the same, and someone who does so can't be taken seriously on any topic. Law enforcement is consistent, and that's why Republicans are howling. Republicans demand the special treatment that they almost always get, and when they don't get that special treatment, they scream that they're being oppressed.

But you fail to mention the differences: Only one did not return them when asked. (One could not because they were destroyed) Only one did not return all of the documents. Only one lied about having returned all the documents. Only one moved and hid some of the documents and lied again about having them. Let us compare apples and apples. BLM and ANTIFA rioters who were caught were charged as were MAGA rioters who were caught at the Capital. No One was "murdered" in the capital. She was part of a violent group trying to break through a door barricaded by police in a situation where violence had been used against police. I think the police showed exceptional restraint in trying not to kill people. What you say is not only not 100% proven. Some of it is untrue.
