Biden slammed on social media after announcing Transgender Day of Visibility on Easter Sunday

This was a bad PR move for the Biden White House.

First, you would have thought that the "Genital Mutilation Society” would have pushed off their celebration until March 30 or April 1 out of respect. They didn’t.

Then the White House follows it up by observing the day when they easily could have ignored it. They followed that up with an edit that any Easter egg that is decorated with a religious symbol is banned.

What is Easter without Jesus?

I see the anti-transgender sentiment that’s on this forum is still alive and well, no big surprises there.

I would like to know how Biden acknowledging today as a transgender awareness day, which another poster pointed out has existed since 2009, is some god awful move of his and how it takes away from Easter. Or how this is important enough of an issue to whine about.

 

It was important enough for the guy who said gays are a security threat to make a national announcement.

Some people question the wisdom of giving life changing drugs to young children and question cutting off breasts and penises from people before the age of legal consent. If you are too young to drink, you are too young to have these operations.

Because he has dishonored Easter which is viewed by some Christians as more holy than Christmas. Biden either has a political tin ear, or his handlers have decided the Christians are not an important part of the electorate.
