I am not dealing with the blame game here on an incident of military negligence and blunder.. Its a tragic loss of seven lives compared to the thousands of displaced and damaged lives in the middle of war, famine and pestulance. We have to get that 'suspended aid' flowing again, while Israel does its internal investigation. We have keep focused on the big picture problems of getting a ceasefire and save a population from a massive death event.

A less liberal thinking person would say I don't want to look like the enemy by being in their vehicles. But with intelligence you get less people doing charity though.
The “team was traveling in a deconflicted zone in two armored cars branded with the WCK logo and a soft skin vehicle,” WCK said.

You're saying that only one of the populations in this conflict should receive help. Why?

Benjamin Netanyahu almost seems unapologetic in his response, which bordered on a "s*** happens" attitude.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/...i-strike-kills-7-workers-halts-aid-rcna145976

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Tuesday his country’s forces had “unintentionally hit innocent people” in the Gaza Strip in the past day, after an airstrike killed seven aid workers with the disaster relief charity World Central Kitchen.
    ...
“It happens in war, we check it to the end, we are in contact with the governments, and we will do everything so that this thing does not happen again,” he (Netanyahu) added.

    Is that an apology?

Hate to break it to you, but there will be no cease fire unless Biden has a sudden change of heart which I place the chances of at miniscule. In fact, everything indicates that Israel plans on completing the ethnic cleansing of Gaza and turn the West Bank into Gaza 2.

And that internal investigation thingy - that's just silly.

They were in vehicles approved by the IOF and let in by the IOF. Hamas is traveling by foot in Gaza.

Israel sucks directly on the U.S. tit and is receiving endless help. Israel also has a means to make plenty of food as Israel isn't being bombed by an enemy supplied with the latest U.S. weaponry. The Israelis can always stop their murderous LARPing and go home.

    The Gazans have fewer options.

    Wow!

You sound just like García Zárate's jury!

The problem is that this was not a bullet bouncing off the pavement. It was a deliberate attack on 3 different vehicles. And each time, the best Israel can claim is that they were just killing anything that moved.

    That's murder.

NGOs like World Central Kitchen should not be in Gaza.

It is Israel's responsibility to feed Gazan's since they control Gaza's borders.

If the Gazan's starve, it is on Israel's head.

Because I only support humanitarian aid based on need in this conflict. Israelis seems pretty well fed, and housed these days and they have been getting pretty good medical care.

The whole subject of your thread is pretty small potatoes except insofar as it impacts humanitarian aid. It focuses on the seven dead people, rather than the thousands that are dying or will be. Its a distraction rather than anything else.

Those 7 people just dropped off 100 tons of food.

How many can you feed with 100 tons?

200 more tons were being shipped by sea and has since turned around.

Other larger food programs are pulling out.

So fog of war doesn’t exist, blunders are never made, communication is always perfect, and nighttime vision is always clear as an eagle. Thanks for the insight

    Wrong.

The vehicles were clearly marked and had clearance for travel.
After the first strike they were moving the wounded into a second vehicle
When that vehicle was struck in a 2nd attack
After that they were moving the wounded into the third marked vehicle when the final strike killed all who remained.

This was no accident of war.
This was a deliberate targeting of non-combatants and then it was the deliberate killing of the wounded and people trying to help the wounded.

You know, the kinds of things NAZIS did in WW2.

"Collateral damage" (noncombatant casualties) have happened in war since the dawn of time. Recent advances in technology have allowed the lessening of those casualties, but they still happen. It's inevitable.

If you have an idea for bombs and other weapons that only kill Hamas personnel and not nearby civilians... please tell us about it. If you can explain how to blow up a bridge to prevent Hamas forces to maneuver but will allow civilian trucks to pass freely... please let us know. If you can come up with an idea how to cut power and water to Hamas but allow civilians free access... please share it with us.

War sucks... always has... always will.

    You are wrong.

This will be the straw that broke the Israeli camel's back.

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/04/01/middleeast/israel-protests-netanyahu-intl/index.html

People in Israel are seeing this war for what it is, Netanyahu's attempt to turn Israel into a dictatorship with him at the helm. War is always a great tool for silencing dissent but it ain't working.

As the glorious statesman Forest Gump said "it happens."

    But this ain't it.

    This was murder.
    Purposeful targeting of non-combatants
    Purposeful slaughter of wounded

    "It" is a war crime.

    There ya go.
    Defend murder.
    Defend the bayonetting of wounded
    Defend the murder of non-combatants

Because what HAMAS did was bad Israel is OK for doing 30x worse.

    We get it.

There should be no cease fire until Hamas rejects the Koran's most popular passage:
Surah 2:191: "And kill them (non-Muslims) wherever you find them … kill them. Such is the recompense of the disbelievers (non-Muslims)."
They don't seem to leave a lot of leeway for negotiation.

Also, after the first vehicle was hit, the WCK team radioed idf to inform them that they were targeting their convoy and to stop. The IDF then bombed them then the third vehicle.

    According to haaretz.
