LOL, sad thing is you actually believe that. The "law Congress has pasted" allows them to wander freely with no real idea where they are. Asylum is supposed to protection agains specific danger or threat against a particular individual, not an "Open sesame" magic trick because a person lived in a "s**thole country".

What's wrong with Mexico's asylum laws or don't they have one? My pov is the United States should be pressuring Mexico to offer asylum first, if they want our aid.

No, not exactly, and this time I am not going to re-post all the Expulsion etc numbers, which are in the millions. Also, an effort was made to stop catch and release of asylum seekers, but it was turned down by the GOP. How many times do people need to have the same discussion?

You didn't answer the question, BTW.

The aid we give them is anti-narco aid, and its designed to help us, not them.

Judge orders bond company to pay $811 million for defrauding migrants

    By Salvador Rizzo
    Updated April 2, 2024 at 4:45 p.m. EDT * Published April 2, 2024 at 2:27 p.m. EDT

"A Virginia company that posts bonds for jailed immigrants facing deportation has been ordered to pay more than $800 million in restitution and penalties for fraudulent practices such as getting Spanish-speaking clients to sign English-language contracts that they didn’t fully understand and requiring them to pay $420 a month for GPS ankle monitors.

The company, Libre by Nexus, based in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, also threatened legal action against clients who didn’t pay the company’s fees, saying that their accounts would be sold to collection agencies and that they would be referred for deportation, according to the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the attorneys general of Massachusetts, New York and Virginia.

In a ruling Monday, U.S. District Judge Elizabeth K. Dillon in Roanoke ordered the company and its principals to pay more than $811 million. The judge found that the company owed the consumer protection bureau $231 million in restitution, of which Virginia is seeking $14 million, Massachusetts $3.3 million and New York $13.7 million to reimburse the company’s clients. The rest is owed in civil penalties, including more than $555 million to the consumer protection bureau, according to court documents.

Legal experts said the company could face bankruptcy, considering the whopping size of the monetary judgments. Libre chief executive Mike Donovan blasted the judge’s “offensive” ruling and said the company would appeal. ... “We continue to remain committed to serving our clients — people who suffer and sacrifice for a better life, and who do not deserve to be political pawns in an American legislature or an American courtroom,” Donovan said in a statement.'

The Biden administration did not secure the border... it is their fault... no one else's... Wake up America.... they are among us...

Great article by a real journalist who has went into Panama to find out why there are Chinese stores in the jungles of Panama. Laura Loomer is a tenacious investigative journalist and is doing real journalism no others will touch.. She spent the entire day in the Panamanian jungle visiting and filming invasion camps that cater to Chinese invaders.

Cell phones.... yep these poor desolate people can not survive without them..

Chinese invaders are roughly 80% military aged men.

The Biden administration is DIRECTLY responsible for the phuster cluck we have at the border... the deaths that are happening and drug problem is their doings.... no one else's..

    Interesting article

Obama Hat marching to the United States was one of the many disturbing events I encountered while making my way toward the Bajo Chiquito Camp for illegals coming to the United States. The Bajo Chiquito Camp is located along the Darién Gap, which connects North and South America. Seafront Panama, which is Panama’s Border Patrol, informed me that 2,000 illegal immigrants a day, destined for the United States of America, pass through his country. United Nations-backed organizations are directly helping illegals make their way through Panama. The citizens of Panama informed me that they hope President Trump wins the election, as the illegal immigrant caravans have deeply harmed Panama. Biden’s open borders have created an international humanitarian crisis.

Believe what? I asked a question

As to amnesty — I don’t disagree with you, it needs to be more controlled. Unfortunately the laws as written don’t have automatic enforcement and don’t place limitations on it.

We need to limit the maximum number allowed to be processed per day (congress would have to do this), then make them claim asylum in the first safe country (congress again as the courts struck down these EO’s) and they need to speed up the process with more judges (which costs money, congress again)

Then you DO agree with me. My point was current law allows them in to wait - months or years in the US.
    I agree.

Worse the number of illegals coming in under Biden just those known exceeds that of every president since 2000. The numbers were trending downward under Trump. By the end of the Trump President fewer people were entering the US in a month than are now entering in a week under Biden. Attempts to compare the presidencies are little more than fatuous nonsense. One may as well attempt to compare a ripple on a mill pond with a tsunami driven by a volcanic collapse.

LOL. Man, are you really shoveling the poop. It is Biden and the democrats who have left the borders wide open, worse than it has ever been. At least you have gotten to the point where you realize it is a crisis but want to deflect from Biden & Co who is responsible for that crisis. Before you refused to even acknowledge that it was a crisis. Baby steps. I don't expect you to get it all at once. But, multiple polls show Trump is far more trusted on the border than Biden is. Or, are you a fact denier?

100%, our immigration system is broken and full of abuse. Congress needs to act yesterday but we need to elect adults that can make difficult decisions that might not be popular and might not be everything they want.

I have always said we should tackle two birds with one stone — the largest issue for many Americans are immigration and healthcare. Republicans offer up a a comprehensive national healthcare plan in exchange for Democrats offering up a national immigration plan that ends assistance to illegals and stops amnesty abuse, ends sanctuary cities and rapidly deports.

    That’s a photo

    Not a link

Regardless, I just don’t think presidents should rule by EO and that congress needs to do its job. Maybe you disagree?

Trump had a treaty in place with the Mexican government called remain in Mexico It dropped Illegal entries drastically because no one wants to remain in Mexico. It's dangerous.

My point was clear and you are tying to wiggle your way out by claiming 'strawman' since you can't respond.

My point, again, is that you can't say 'well policy is different so we can't compare the situations' and that's a complete logical fallacy. Different administrations handle the border differently based almost solely on policy so it's all we can compare and it's perfectly valid to do so.

Again, it clearly bothers you to no end that trump was successful with the border and biden is unsuccessful. No matter how you spin it that is not disputable....the facts/data/numbers prove it.

Well, lets see. Brandon has been in government for what, 50 years?
What has he or the democrats done to resolve this?
US Senate career of Joe Biden - Wikipedia
The burden of a 40-year career: Some of Joe Biden’s record doesn’t age well - Los Angeles Times (latimes.com)

You'll remember when Trump was calling for the building of the wall, the democratic response was "Not one dime, not now, not ever!"
And the border security bill was clearly mislabeled from the start; the proper name should have been "lets pay Ukraine so they can pay the big guy" bill. The Border patrol by the way never said it was "the most conservative border proposal ever"

Can you quote who said “Not one dime, not now, not ever!”

And the wall was not effective as you can see.

I don’t know who “the big guy” is — can you link to the conviction for that also?

Nancy Pelosi proudly declared "not one dime not now, not ever"
I call Brandon, or AKA Biden, "the big guy"
    Did that trigger you?
Do not quote me NBC, or MSNBC or any other left leaning rag.
National Border Patrol Council endorses embattled Senate border deal (newsnationnow.com)

“For it to be a meaningful border security bill, it had to end catch and release; that was the number one piece of it,” he said. “Regardless of the talking points, even from Sen. Langford currently, if you read the bill, it does not; it codifies in law that many people will be released. It leaves a lot of loopholes in place.”

Scott expressed his disagreement with the NBPC’s endorsement of the bill but understands the rationale behind their decision. He emphasized Border Patrol agents have been overwhelmed for the past three years and they need all the assistance they can get.

Can you provide her full quote, in context please?

As for your concern that you “triggered” me — someone like yourself do not hold that ability. But thanks for checking!

And had they that too would have been a lie. The real purpose of the bill was to fund The ukraine first and foremost then fund all the NGO most of which should have their leadership jailed as traitors who are facilitating that mass migration at the border, and lastly to hire a few more immigration judges to ignore US laws.

Nothing is ever effective if no one is willing to enforce the actual law.
