Fact is- we should never have been in Afganistan in the first place. The Russians gave it up after 10 years, it took us 20 to figure it out.
So... Trump achieved a sort of peace, and part of it was releasing prisoners of war. Would you have been happier if he just nuked Afganistan?
The only way that you are going to end the religious monstrosity of hate that is the radical islamists is to kill them all.

Joe on the other hand, left the Afghans who helped us and we made promises behind, and left the taliban many billions of dollars in arms- fro rifles to tanks to jet aircraft.

I believe his point is that the summer of love had more violence, more looting, more arson, more assaults and more murders than 1/6. Plus the summer of love rioters had the support of the media and politicians, including Harris who raised bail money for them. The 1/6ers ultimately weren't going to change anything, they didn't kill anyone and the Capitol is still standing and not a pile of burned ashes.
