Another day, another Trump appeal. The delay tactics don't appear to be working this time. Will the SCOTUS step in with some immunity consideration? Jury selection scheduled for this Monday.

New York appeals judge rejects Trump's third legal challenge to delay hush money criminal trial

On Monday, Trump filed a separate Article 78 petition with the Appellate Division seeking to halt the trial by arguing he can't get a fair trial in Manhattan. A judge denied that request Monday, and a separate judge denied his request to delay the trial Tuesday while he appeals Merchan’s gag order as "unconstitutional."

Trump has pleaded not guilty to charges he falsified business records relating to hush money payments that were made during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Indeed. This has been a pattern for him. The tragedy is that he leans NOTHING from previous experiences ,nor does he change his behavior so as not to end up with the same results.
(that is the definition of insanity - doing the same thing over again, while expecting different results )
Throwing the book at him is LONG overdue. He has gotten away with so much......he believes in his own exceptionalism)

Orange never will "learn" anything. He's right and everyone else is wrong, just ask him.

I sincerely hope he never changes. It will make it easier to convict and impose the maximum allowed by law on his fraudulent, felonious , odious $ss.
An serious example needs to be made to discourage this in the future or future crooks will simply refine their methods.

    Business records aren't "disclosures".

Agree with your eloquent and accurate descriptive comments. what makes him "unusual" too, is his psych pathology. Sociopathy. This kind of person does not learn, does not think they have to learn but just as important are truly a danger. Some perceive them as charismatic........and almost seductive in how they operate and convince/ influence others. IF he had not been born into wealth and granted every privilege wealth affords.........he would be a dumb low life thug .( with his personality disorder)

That's an interesting question - "What would Trump be like, if he wasn't born into wealth, and given a large fortune?" I think you hit the nail on the head - "a dumb low life thug".

Unless you are playing very, very broad semantics, yes, they most certainly are. That's the whole point of a balance sheet. The disclose the financial condition of the company.

It doesn't change the fact that the money was spent.

I don't even know what you think you are talking about at this point. Is this another one of your joke legal theories?

I heard they've selected half of the jury -
Robert DeNiro, Taylor Swift, Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Bruce Springstein, and George Soros
