So you finally figured out that falsifying business records is illegal? Congrats!

He was impeachd for them, The judgemfound him guilty and fined him $90,000 and had to sign a plea deal when he left office to avoid the certain guilty verdict in court. He had no defense.

I never said it wasn't. It's illegal, but it's only a misdemeanor, not a felony.

I'm not even sure what the first "sentence" is supposed to mean. And if he can make the argument that it was personal, then he has a rock-solid defense. Good luck with that.

Prove it was solely for the campaign and not a single penny was to avoid personal scandal to his wife and family and business.

You DO know who was John Edwards? He ran for President. He paid off a hooker. They tried to prosecute him on the same and it was laughed out of court.

The difference between Trump and Edwards, is that Edwards was making payments directly from his campaign coffers.

I'm pretty sure that, so long as the campaign was a concern at all, it would be a campaign contribution. I don't think there's a "But he was also thinking about other things" exception. I could be wrong, though.

Why do you continue to make false statements about Brother Bill ?

    First, the Senate aquitted him.
Second, the judge found him guilty of civil contempt. Note the word CIVIL. Which is different from criminal.
Third, the agreement Clinton signed was with the Special Prosecutor and the Arkansas Bar. In return for a temporary suspension of his law license, he walked.

Slick Willie is an innocent man, not convicted of anything criminal. Nor did he plead to any crime.

Feel free to try and refute any of these truths.

Not the best president ever, but absolutely in the top 10 !

If he's convicted, will it be overturned before the election? I don't think so.

Irrelevant. A conviction will get him more votes.

    Projection is confession brah
Look it up, all jailtime felonies:
"In the New York case, each count of falsifying business records, a felony, is punishable by up to four years in prison — though it's not clear if a judge would impose any prison time if Trump is convicted."
    4 times 34 brah....

Yep... misdemeanors and past the statute of limitations.

Excellent article... April 12, 2024.... Byron York

    1) The core crime alleged, falsifying business records, is a misdemeanor (past the statute of limitations). 2) To turn the misdemeanor into a felony, Bragg had to claim that Trump falsified records in the act of committing another crime — but Bragg has not charged Trump with any other crime. 3) Bragg “stacked” the charges to come up with 34 felony counts against Trump based on what was essentially one payoff. 4) Bragg’s effort to boost the case from misdemeanor to felony depends on a highly debatable reading of campaign finance law. 5) Bragg’s star witness Michael Cohen is, in the New York Times’s words, “a disbarred lawyer who served prison time after pleading guilty to violating campaign finance laws, evading taxes, making false statements to a bank, and lying to Congress.”

Dude, you are not on Earth II, seriously you are not. Read the article,
    https://apnews.com/article/donald-trump-arraignment-hush-money-81225510ef7638494852816878f612f0
"In the New York case, each count of falsifying business records, a felony, is punishable by up to four years in prison — though it’s not clear if a judge would impose any prison time if Trump is convicted. The next court date is Dec. 4 — two months before Republicans begin their nominating process in earnest — and Trump will again be expected to appear."
