Should these persons be in jail and paying tens of thousands in fines and have criminal records?

It was almost 3 O'Clock and there was no riot going on at that entrance which the CAPITAL POLICE were holding open and allowing her through.

Either quote me saying she was being peaceful else be man enough to withdraw it. Are protestors who are merely not being peaceful open targets for lethal force?

If they choose to be there during a violent attack, then yes, they deserve to receive whatever tactics law enforcement gives them to withdraw and leave. Would you simply allow them to bust through your glass and walk around peacefully in your home? If not, why?

    I asked according to you.

I gave you the slime number who were charged, why so few? Why were 90% of the misdemeanors' discharged? Why was the VP spending her time trying to raise money to blanket bail them out which led to the only 90% charges dropped?

They gave them tacit permission to enter and were entirely peacful. We now simply put people who do so in jail?

They chose to let dipshits enter areas where they were outnumbered and wouldn't be maimed or hurt by those mango worshipping dipshits. How do you simply choose to pretend that those dumb ****s didn't break windows and doors in other areas of the Capitol.

I ask again........can I send BLM to your home, break your windows and doors and walk into your home? If not, why?

They had complete control at the time. Why do you keep fallaciously claiming this great-grandmother engaged un violence?

Why should she and the others who PEACEFULLY under the supervision and direction of the Capitol Police go to prison?

names are required if you think someone known should have been arrested who was not

if we do not know who committed the crime, how can they be arrested

No, but are you sure that's all they did?

Why wouldn't it be? The question is what else did they see that you didn't.

Because they broke the law, genius.

Why do you keep dodging my question? Are you ok if I tell BLM to break your windows and "peacefully" enter your home or place of business? If not, why?

What did she do exactly that requires remorse? What could possibly warrant months if not years in prison. Should we imprison all future peaceful protestors in the Capitol?

what was she found guilty of.....

the sentence is max one year I read... showing remorse for her crimes would of gone a long way

4 misdemeanors, just say you are sorry, you won't do again.... simple

These people are in prison while they let out violent rapists/criminals that go and murder people days after they're released. The J6 trials are a joke. Nail the people who actually did damage or hurt people, NOT the people who just walked in through open doors while cops waved them through.

Sorry for what exactly and did the prosecitor tell her all she had to do was say she was sorry? Three years of this and all they wanted was I"m sorry. That's all you have asked for all these years a "I'm sorry".

After reading through the last few pages of this thread, it seems that the conversation has gotten wide of the subject. In addition, lots of unverified extraneous information has been thrown in. Lots of deflection has occurred.

    Back on point:
Did granny receive due process ?
Did she get her day in court ?
Was there any fault in the process ?

Yes, she received due process, got her day in court, and nowhere in the OP or anywhere else in this thread was raised the issue of a fault in the process.

Now comes the sentence, on August 12.
