Obama and Biden sure love making sure Iran has money for terrorism.

White House ripped over sanctions waiver that critics say put billions of dollars in Iran’s hands

The Biden administration is being blasted for allowing billions of dollars to allegedly flow into Iran under a controversial sanctions waiver — even after Iranian-backed rebels launched deadly air strikes against American forces and the Muslim country just directly attacked staunch US ally Israel.

Last month, the White House extended the waiver, a move that unlocked up to $10 billion more in frozen funds by enabling Iraq to pay the Iranian government for electricity services, according to critics and the Washington Free Beacon.

The Biden administration had already renewed the waiver program, which was established in 2018, in November.

The extended waiver was then set to expire again in March, but the administration reapproved it once more — just six weeks after three US service members were killed and dozens more injured in a drone attack by Iran-backed militants in Jordan in late January.

Exactly. I don't know what Iran has on Biden and Obama, but clearly they are Iran's bitches.

How Did the War Begin? With Iran’s Appeasers in Washington

'The bulk of the blame falls on the policies of those in Washington who sought to appease Iran at almost any price and ignore its serial aggressions'

'Those policies began in the week after President Barack Obama’s inauguration in January 2009. In one of the forty-fourth president’s first acts of foreign diplomacy, Obama sent an offer of reconciliation to Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. That June, in his historic Cairo speech, Obama became the first president to refer to Tehran’s regime as the Islamic Republic of Iran—legitimizing the oppressive theocracy—and stood aside while that republic’s thugs beat and shot hundreds of Iranian citizens protesting for their freedom.'

'Over the next four years, the White House ignored a relentless spate of Iranian aggressions—attacks against U.S. Navy vessels in the Persian Gulf; backing for al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups dedicated to America’s destruction; and barely disguised efforts to undermine pro-Western Middle Eastern governments.'

'At the same time, Iran supported Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad’s mass slaughter—often with poison gas—of his own countrymen. Obama had declared Syria’s use of chemical weapons as “a red line” that would have “enormous consequences” on America’s involvement in the war. It didn’t.'

The folks who are so vocal about learning history don't seem to even know what happened during their own lifetimes.

It's clear when you debate some of these folks on the Left, they generally know little beyond the spoonfed talking points.

    Which began with Ronald Reagan.
No, they began when Reagan cut a back room deal, illegally, with Iran, to not release the hostages until after the election.
No, we did retaliate when we were attacked.
And what was the Obama Administration supposed to do? Start a world war?

The folks who are so adamantly critical only know one side of the issues and, consequently, are ignorant of the big picture of world events.

Actually  that is the right's spin on it. Here's what really happened.

    ####################

    You (my question)
what was biden's "minor incursion" statement

    Copilot
    Using the web
President Joe Biden’s “minor incursion” statement was made during a press conference on January 19, 202212. Here are the key points:

This statement and its aftermath highlight the delicate and complex nature of international relations. It’s important to note that this information is current as of April 2024 and may have changed since then. Always consult multiple reliable sources to get a comprehensive understanding of the situation.

    ####################

So, President Biden clarified his comments immediately and long before Russia actually invaded Ukraine.

Biden's comment is what Putin heard because that comment shows Biden's own thinking before people had to clean it up for him.

The last time they did anything worth while was the Korean conflict but that was only because the USSR screwed up.

They do, but, Trump and the GOP are leading the polls.

    upload_2024-4-14_20-24-55.png

Nearly 2/3 Americans see the country as being on the wrong track under Bribed Joe.

There is a pro GOP lean in the Electoral College because 50% more States are Red compared to Blue. Biden's final average in the RCP was 51.2% and he still barely won. Biden's nearly 6 points behind that. If Biden goes into the election nearly 6 points behind his 2020 pace, he's going to lose, and its going to be an early night. The point is that while many of the Left pretend they are winning the argument, polling shows that they are not.

Ten Ways For Bribed Joe To Guarantee a Theater-Wide War

    “Don’t!”

'On the eve of the October 7 massacres, National Security Advisor bragged in an essay that his Mideast portfolio was “quieter than it has been for decades”. Now we are on the verge of a multifront Middle East war. How did Joe Biden inherit a decades-long regional calm and turn it into a precursor to a gargantuan war?'

    1. 'Talk loudly and carry a twig. Issue hollow Obama-like “redlines” or serial Biden threats to aggressive enemies like the vapid “Don’t!” Witness a U.S. President who works a 3-day week, struggles to read a teleprompter, and shouts more at conservative Americans than at America’s enemies.'

    2. 'Destroy hard-won deterrence. Abruptly pull out of Afghanistan. Abandon $50 billion in weapons to terrorists. Abandon a new $1 billion embassy. Abandon a $300B refitted air base. Abandon thousands of NATO allies, thousands of U.S. contractors, and thousands of Afghan allies. Lose 13 Marines in a horrific scramble to get out, while killing collateral Afghan civilians in a supposedly “righteous strike”. Call the entire American humiliation an impressive withdrawal.'

    3. 'Sit passively while a Chinese spy balloon traverses the continental U.S. Shoot it down only after days of escalating public outrage. Be afraid to call the Chinese out for the Wuhan-lab-generated, gain-of-function Covid-19 virus. Let Chinese diplomats dress down our silent and stunned secretary of state and national security advisor on American soil in Anchorage.'

    4. 'Assure Vladimir Putin that the U.S. reaction to a preemptive invasion of Ukraine would hinge on whether it was a major or “minor” invasion. Delay $100 million in military aid to Ukraine as Putin massed on Ukraine’s borders in hopes such forbearance would be reciprocated. Implore Putin to be more selective in his cyber targeting of U.S. infrastructure and institutions.'

More US troops, equipment headed to Middle East amid Iranian threats
    ...
Pentagon says 900 US troops have deployed or are deploying to Middle East amid heightened tensions
    ...
Between the two links I provided, the first news story from April 14 2024 and the second link from late last year (2023), there are numerous stories in the news about troop and equipment movements. Not all of it's detailed and probably for the best as it's a security issue.

And now for the sources you don't respect, but I was playing an online game and a member of our team messaged that they were called up, were leaving soon, and that would be the last we heard from them for a while. And, just recently I talked to someone else whose son was called up and they were leaving the country. That's at least two. Which is a generally large number. During the War on Terror during the George W Bush years I only knew one person who was deployed. Military soldiers are a very small segment of the population. To see a doubling of the known number of deployed troops means that this current conflict is a major, big deal.

When you go to bed at night, which of these three words Biden often utters makes you and your family feel safe and secure:

    1. Don't

    2. Bidenomics

Biden already did his part. He said "DON'T". It isn't his fault Iran didn't listen. Also, Biden is the one that gave them the $$$ for that attack, so we could say (by using the same liberal standards that the left uses to say Trump is responsible for J6), JOE BIDEN is 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS ATTACK.

'What will Biden do if Iran attacks Israel?'

    He'll say "Don't" to Israel.

The Real War in the Middle East Comes into Focus

'Last night should make clear, for those still in doubt, that Gaza is just one part of the broader story of Iran’s growing power and its tightening encirclement of Israel. When understood in this context, the behavior of Israel and its opponents becomes easier to understand.'

'Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Gaza are one link in the Iranian encirclement. The Houthis in Yemen, who have been harassing commercial ships and firing at Israel’s southern port of Eilat, are another link. The Iranian-backed militias in Iraq make up a third. The Iranian forces and proxies in Syria, including the Revolutionary Guard commanders killed in the recent Israeli airstrike in Damascus, are a fourth. (The strike on April 1, which came after months of attacks against Israel by proxies directed and armed by the Revolutionary Guards, is typically being cast by Israel’s opponents as an unprovoked attack on a diplomatic facility, as if the commanders were cultural attachés in town for a goodwill concert.) Lebanon’s Hezbollah, whose bombardments have depopulated a swath of northern Israel since October 7, is the fifth. If you look at a map, you’ll see that Iran has methodically installed proxies that can strike Israel from almost any direction except the west, where we border the Mediterranean.'

'the successful defense mounted not just by Israel but by the U.S. and Britain, and also by Jordan and, apparently, by Saudi Arabia—a welcome development hard to imagine a few years ago, and still puzzling to a Western observer fed stories about an “Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”'

'emerging from the shadows to end any doubt about what this war is and who’s fighting it.'

    Read the whole thing.
