    LOL.
You just haven't seen what's been happening since the founding of fire and the wheel.

And don't worry. I've never complained about new technology. In fact, that has been one of the reason's USA has been leading the world in growth.

Technology and change is what drives profits higher by driving down costs.

Does race affect every thought you have?
Protecting workers didn't specify a color.

The first minimum wage law was implemented to exclude minorities.

    Link?
The link I provided said nothing about any minorities being excluded.

What penny are you talking about that they got? Solyndra, I was totally opposed how about you? Bidens new corporate handouts, all against them how about you?

Do you not read anything about these matter before posting. Who do you think has the most outstanding student loan debt?

    KEY TAKEAWAYS:

    • Top earners benefit the most from Biden’s student loan giveaway, despite the Administration’s efforts to target low-income borrowers. According to the CFRB, “57 percent to 65 percent of the extended pause and cancellation will go to those in the top half of the income spectrum.”
    • Even assuming full participation across incomes, highest earners still reap the most financial reward. As noted by CFRB, in order to receive the handout, Americans must fill out an application, “which is likely to be a more significant barrier to lower income borrowers with fewer resources, particularly those who have long been in default or forbearance and are thus detached from the system.”
    • Earnings from the last two years are skewed. The pandemic caused even high-income households to report lower incomes than usual, nullifying the Administration’s means-testing efforts. The CFRB goes on to note that those with high earning potential (and therefore are more able to pay off their student debt), such as lawyers and doctors, often take on temporary low-income jobs.
https://waysandmeans.house.gov/stud...tion's attempts to,two thirds of the giveaway.

Canceling All US Student Debt Would Mostly Benefit High Earners

They find that following universal student-debt forgiveness, the average person in the top decile of the earnings distribution would receive more than five times as much relief as the average person in the bottom decile, and almost half of all relief would go to people in the top 30 percent of the distribution. “Patterns are similar under policies forgiving debt up to $10,000 or $50,000,” they write, “with higher-income households seeing significantly more loan forgiveness.”

Biden’s Student Loan Forgiveness Plan Makes the Poor Pay for the Rich

...While the intention behind President Biden’s student loan forgiveness may appear noble (in likelihood, it is a rent-seeking move), the results may prove detrimental to our nation’s economic stability and fairness. And if the debt is monetized, more inflation will result.

Forgiving student loans will exacerbate existing problems, with the brunt of the burden falling on lower-income Americans. Instead of improving the situation, it will likely create an intricate web of financial consequences, indirectly affecting the very people it aims to help. But that is the result of most government programs with good intentions.

Yup. Just like most of the benefits of affirmative action go to wealthy minority families.

Had roommates and made sure I increased my value to my employer and received merit promotions and raises and was able be on my own but for several more years had roommates to share expenses and the fun of it. Then got married, and saved and invested and AFFORDED MY FAMILY. I didn't ask for the government to fund it, I didn't demand some other working class hero get up and go to work but turn over some of their money to me. I wanted my wealthy employer/profitable company to make lots of money and found ways to make sure they did because then they paid me more.

Ain't rocket science. The minimum wage should allow an employer to take an unskilled worker into a job and train them to do a job and when they do and prove their labor value to the employer they will no longer make minimum wage and the sky is the limit.

Tell me did you ever make minimum wage? For how long?

I live in CA., and there were plenty of us who didn't vote for grease. He doesn't have to pay his own workers from his wineries 20 bucks an hour, (there are four), so why should any other employer? Oh, that's right, I almost forgot to say, he's a self-serving moron.

WHY would a rich person need a student loan ? See, most rich people got rich because they were smart with their money. WHY would they strap themselves with a student loan if they already have the money to pay for college ?

See, rich people got rich because they understand that a student loan is basically a mortgage, and the $100,000 loan will cost them $150-$200k by the time they pay it back over 20 years. Rich people would never do that.

    But you knew that…

Does this sound like rich people getting the loan forgiveness?
One needs to take into account the poster(s) making claims. Some aren't very honest with claims.

    ...
Who qualifies for the student loan forgiveness?
Three groups of people qualify under the latest round of debt relief, the White House said.

    • $3.6 billion for 206,800 borrowers enrolled in the SAVE plan.
About $3.6 billion will be forgiven for nearly 207,000 borrowers enrolled in the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) plan, an income-driven repayment program, or IDR, that the Biden administration created last year.

The White House said borrowers who are getting their debt discharged under SAVE had taken out smaller loans for their college studies. The plan allows people to receive forgiveness after they made at least 10 years of payments if they originally took out $12,000 or less in loans to pay for college; borrowers with larger loans are eligible after 20 or 25 years of repayment, depending on what types of loans they have.

OK, this math makes no sense:
10 years on a $12,000 loan ? Thats approx $120 a month (including interest) and it would be paid off. What would be "forgiven" ?

Then ask yourself this simple question:
if you have already paid for $25 years, what would be left ?

Now do all this math and ask yourself "WHAT THE HELL" on college loans. You have paid for 25 years and you still have a balance ?

Now you know why the banks and colleges are workign together.

"Hey kids, go to college and get a degree in whatever you want, for the low..low price $500 a month for the rest of your life !!!"

What have I said that was not true ? Prove most of the loan forgiveness goes to the lower earners.

WHY would a person who could pay for college, get a loan to do that ?

You keep dodging the question....do people who have money not pay attention to their money ? WHY would someone who has the money to pay for school, take out a loan to pay for shool ?
