So where exactly did I read about a jury of your peers and public trials if not in the Constitution? Did you skip that part or claiming those are not fundamental rights in the good ole USA?
No, no...it's Bragg that doesn't have case (Trump doesn't need to have a case, he's the defendant...lol) and that's why the trial has to be rigged.
I see. You are almost as uninformed as Billo is. The trial is public. It is a jury of his peers. You try to twist that into being "the identity of all jurors must be given ot the public." That's not what it means or what it has ever meant. Did you skip that part? Because it honestly seems that you, like Trump, never bothered to read a single syllable of the document.
You wanted him dragged down into the jail, so chain him up and let us know when you have the freely given confession to all charges, why have the trials?
He hasn't been indicted for the Federal crime that Bragg claims he committed. A state grand jury cannot indict someone for Federal campaign finance violations.
. . . hold on . . . I clearly gave you too much credit. You are honestly telling me that you think it is illegal/unconstitutional to jail people pending trial? Even though it has happened every day in this country since the day it was founded? WTF? I'll try to dumb this down. I'm talking about jail PENDING trial. PENDING. That means he would be in jail until AFTER the trial is over, after which time he'd either be free to go or face the penalties determined by the trial. You are faking it if you are pretending you can't grasp this concept. That or you are entirely new to the concept of law and order. Yes. Jail exists. Good luck pretending you didn't know this before today.
I'm not saying they have to "prove" anything. I'm saying they present a case. But if you would like to advise Trump's team to just not say anything at all, have fun with that.
Pulitzer Prize 2024 material. lol The Daily Beast "Trump's Trial Now Has 12 Jurors—and One Angry Man"
There is no right to the public identity of the jurors. That would be a right to rig. Not a right to make sure the jury isn't rigged.
So secret juries, the judge can allow a jury of your political opponents draw from a pool where 90% have a salient opposition to you then muzzling the defendant while allowing not only the DA and others make negative statements against him even the judges OWN DAUGTHER....allowing the testimony of known perjurers in the matter...allowing the allegation of unspecific felonies of which never convicted.....yea I think we are leaving the realm of fair and open trials with proper due process.
The jury isn't secret to the defendant. The defense gets to review the jury pool. Why do you insist on making up this kind of bull ****? And I'm sorry this is the first time you've encountered the concept of a gag order. Surely Trump is the first being in existence to encounter one.
Then the defense doesn't have to make a case. The defense only has to refute the prosecution's argument and raise "reasonable doubt". In a fair trial, that wouldn't be very hard, since Bragg doesn't have a case. The fact that Trump hasn't been accused, charged, indicted, not convicted of Federal campaign finance violations raises reasonable doubt. But, this is a kangaroo court and the outcome has already been decided.
Refuting the prosecutions arguments IS developing a case. But I always enjoy your unique and unhinged pet legal theories, so keep them coming.
Claiming it to whom? Who was defrauded? And what is his business? He business in a LARGE part was his celebrity and noteritity of which such a disclosure could damage. What difference to anyone else did it even matter on which line in his personal business report he listed it. It was not claimed as a tax related expense what business is it of Bragg what he called it? And even if so it would be a MISDEMEANOR why do you keep leaving that part out. A minor record entry violation nothing more. And the statute of limitations LONG gone.
Ho ho ho! Worried he'll**** be convicted are you? *Rapist *Swindler *Bordering on pathological *Built the New York skyline
Of course it's a secret jury. The names of the jurors has been withheld from the defense. How are we supposed to know that these people are who they claim? The prosecutor can bring in anyone and make up a fake bio and no one will know if it's bullshit, or not unless that person can be researched. The people have a right to know.
The names are withheld from the public. Are they actually withheld from the defense? The defense went through their social media posts, so I doubt that. You do realize that the prosecution and defense have equal rights to review the jury pool, right? Of course not.
Your making stuff up, just stop. You don't even know if he wrote it off his taxes for the love a god. Obviously, he didn't, or they would have charged him with Tax evasion.
Just wanted to stop by to tell the Trump resistors and TDSers, he'll never serve a day, and if they're worried he'll be elected in Nov., they're right to worry. Maybe time for some to stock up on the anti-anxiety meds.
It's interesting that Michael Cohen can say whatever the hell he wants to about the trial but Trump has to keep his mouth shut. Does that sound like a proper use of a gag order?
