So a local yokel DA can just declare someone guilty of a crime with a trial or due process for that crime? One that is NOT even within their jurisdiction to prosecute?

And all you have is "you bet".......you don't know what is this crimes? I don't either. Guess who else doesn't know. The defendant Trump. Isn't it a basic fundamental principle of our system of justice that if the government is going to charge you with a crime and sanction you for a crime that you be told what is that crime so you can defend yourself?

You are supposed to be ARRAIGNED for a felony, be told EXACTLY what law you are being charged and is has to be within the jurisdiction of the court and prosecutor. Seems to be a no-brainer this should never have been filed in the first place and dismissed ASAP.

I am more than happy to watch you continue to make post which show you do not even know for what Bragg is charging him and the legal stretch he made to do it.

If you want something read then post. The only thing that needs to be read is the statue of the felony which Bragg is claiming Trump is guilty.

I have 3 times. Not one of you have read it, yet we’re still subject to this crap. As if you guys understand what this case is about and none of the lawyers or judges have a clue. It’s through the roof crazy.

Cite from the court record the felony statute Bragg is claiming Trump is guilty. You have not.

The question is what crime is he trying to cover up and hide by cooking the books. Now ask the same irrelevant question about 25 more times.

No. He’s alleging that Trump cooked the books to hide other crimes. You can figure it out yourself by reading the pleadings. And you can get a good overview of the case by reading the order from the federal court rejecting Trump’s lame attempt to remove the case to federal court. You have some reading to do.

Whoa! You mean you just need to establish an intent to commit another crime? Isn’t that what I’ve been telling some folks here who just don’t seem able to figure that out? Many other posters have been saying the same thing!

The question is really what crime did he intend to hide.

I wonder if there are any other personal expenses filed under business expenses. Remember his claim that he was so smart to avoid paying taxes

So PRE-EMPTIVE violation of his freedom of speech. Everyone else can speak but the defendant. Everyone else can vilify the defendant but he can't speak. Threats to his family and associates OK but not to others.

Why are you so anti-1st Amendment just to get Trump.

More important I know what it DOESN'T say and what you can't show from it even though since you have not read it you think it does.

I'm right here for when you finally do and are prepare to either state the felony statue Trump has been convicted of and Bragg is accusing him of or else admit it's not in there.

There are no tax violations charged here, did you not know that. There never has been a tax issue it was not claimed as a tax deduction obviously. Cohen has the tax violations for his OWN PERSONAL taxes.

Entering personal expenses as business expenses results in a tax reduction. This is for basic!

How can the courts get it so wrong? If they would have just consulted with @Bluesguy this whole mess could’ve been avoided! The prosecutors are all ****ed up, too!

Did the Orange Fartblossom form an intent to commit tax crimes? Did he form the intent to commit campaign finance violations?

Did he falsify his records to hide it?

That poor man was only trying to exercise his first amendment rights! He can’t even incite kooks to threaten witnesses, court personnel and their families and prosecutors!
