Biden has beaten Trump's economic growth in virtually every year of his presidency.

During his tenure, the country's economy created a record 13 million jobs.

The same goes for the Dow Jones.

    GDP growth:

    Trump

    2017: 2.2%
    2018: 2.9%
    2019: 2.3%
    2020: -2.8%

    Biden

    2021: 5.9%
    2022: 1.9%
    2023: 3.4%
    2024: 2.9% (Q1)

But I understand that for a MAGA, if you feel the economy is going bad.... well, it's going bad.

Numbers are clearly not your specialty.

    More cherry picked stats.

I noticed you didn't include inflation.

9-5 folks are getting crushed in biden's economy. It's a fact regardless of how much spin you put on it. GDP is great for the 1%ers.....we all know that's who the left actually caters to.

Keep posting more stuff that doesn't matter to the majority of the country.....push that agenda!

People struggle to find affordable housing, buy groceries, and you're talking about GDP.....you couldn't be more out of touch with reality if you tried.

The most representative indicator of a nation's economic health is its GDP growth rate.

But that's something you've already seen in an economics course.... isn't it?

Economic growth is always calculated with inflation subtracted.

What's more, wages are rising faster than inflation, which wasn't the case under Trump.

This is why domestic consumption has been growing strongly since 2021.

Speaking of the majority, for whom have they been voting for POTUS for 16 years?

    Democrat or Republican ?

That smells like an excuse to me. The man isn't worth mentioning, and certainly has no bearing on this topic.

That's a long-winded subject change. Did you, or did you not, engage in the ridiculous ploy of posting about a Democrat who said something nasty that had nothing to do with this topic?

Does not matter if they are unhappy, in the higher scheme of things. The important thing is that Ukraine is getting some assistance again. Wonder what Putin will do as a reaction to this.

Your escape attempt is in trying to change the subject.

You got called out for throwing off topic mud on someone not relevant to this issue for no reason other than your hatred of the left, so you're attacking. Typical of you.

Not sure why they keep bringing up "border security" bill, when THEY KNOW what happened. It is all on Trump and them. Egg on THEIR faces .

Did some Democrats give their word? I listened to much of the coverage, and didn't hear this. That said, I would hope that some of them would vote to keep Johnson.

I think America was losing its prestige when it temporarily stopped supporting Ukraine. You do recall that Putin was trying to march into Kiev? Is that OK in your book? Biden has done a lot for American manufacturing - Chips and Science Act, Infrastructure bill (something that Trump promised, but never delivered), etc. Biden has been tough on China. Trump said he was tough, but look at his China actions in 2018.

    https://www.businessinsider.com/tru...ons-to-trump-organization-tied-project-2018-5

President Donald Trump's order regarding Chinese telecom company ZTE came just days after the Chinese government moved to provide cash to a venture that will help the president's bottom line.

"President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast," Trump tweeted Sunday. "Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!"

This was arguably Trump's first impeachable offense.

Same thing he always huff, puff, pump more propaganda to the Putinista wing of the GOP (and the moronic 'anti-imperialist' left) & kill more Ukranians. Rinse, repeat.

Indeed, Rightwing President Biden* has caused some damage espacially in Germany's industrial sector by attracvting German companies to produce in the States.

*According to European standards, Biden is far right.

Now, that I know is not true. BMW has been making their X3 SUVs and Z4 roadsters in Spartanburg, SC for decades. Only the motors are still made in Germany. Their Munich factory didn’t suffer for it, and Biden had nothing to do with it.

"Even if she (Greene) does force a vote to remove Johnson, Democrats are likely to step in and save him. A number of Democrats in recent months have said that if the Speaker moves aid for Ukraine, they will protect him from a conservative coup. Some have predicted there are dozens of Democrats in that camp." https://thehill.com/homenews/house/...-israel-aid-as-dems-help-speaker-johnson-gop/

Surely you know, the left couldn't get it out of the lefty controlled senate. They have the majority but for some reason couldn't get it through?

Nah we're just not dumb enough to think that month over month of 5-7% inflation rates for years doesn't matter. Unemployment was lowest in history before covid, GDP was good with inflation, believe it or not inflation can actually increase GDP, and matching the worker participation rate 3 1/2 years after the pandemic just seems something like 2 years too late. Carry on with Bidenomics is great while their real wages are down, and can't buy anything because interest rates are sky high still today.

Inflation has been below 5% for 18 months.

    It currently stands at 3.8%.

Wages are rising faster than inflation.

Only 3.8%, hooray, wait that's double of where we want inflation. Economics class, lol, show me one that says ignore the previous 36months because then I'm only twice as bad as it should be. Keep on running on this, you sound out of touch and foolish. Biden great lol

    You're moving the goal post.

Inflation in the country is one of the lowest in the G7.

    No problem below 4.5%.

Besides, there can be no economic growth without inflation.

And right now, growth under Biden is better than under Trump.

    And that's a fact.

Ok which goal [post is moved? I thought we were discussing inflation, you want to ignore Biden's 3 year history, unfortunately for the left America has not forgotten, and 3.8% doesn't' make items cheaper it only means they aren't going up as much. lol. Only in lefty land is month over month of 3.8% inflation good because it's not 5%.
