Did the Mar-a-Lago documents case just fall apart?

Could this be one of the reasons Jack Smith fought so hard to not unseal the unredacted evidence against Trump? The government had pallets of documents in its possession and they told Trump to come and get it. Like with the left's argument about Hunter's laptop, the chain of custody was broken and anyone could have slipped classified documents into those pallets of boxes, especially someone who wanted to interfere with an election.

Yeah since we just fell apart because they can't charge him with anything. You can charge him with something every other president in history is guilty.
