I know we've all been following this for several days, even if it's just been background information from a news story here or there.

Every time these protests lead to police arresting hundreds of students, the next day two hundred more protestors show up to protest some more.

How long before we admit that there's no stopping them and it's time to listen to them and resolve some of their grievances? It's just like fighting a hydra, cut one head off and two more grow in. You can't fight it that way. Likewise, you can't just send the police in to stop this. The charges won't stick and the protestors will be back on the streets in a day.

There's a REVOLUTION happening in this country. Police crackdowns didn't work in the past and they won't work now. It's just one more little detour on the path one must take to reach resignation to reality and reach the acceptance stage of grief. Then we must admit that we have to address their concerns.

On the plus side, there's never been as much support in America as now to force Israel and the Palestinians to the table and fix the Palestinian issue once and for all. We can overcome years of bias and cowardness if we apply the same level of pressure to both sides of this conflict in the Middle East.
