As specious analogies go that one is a doozy. Like bigly. About as bad as comparing Biden and Trump's docs cases. The circumstances aren't remotely the same.

If Biden were on trial, under the same circumstances, you would be making the same complaint.

My complaint would be that my party nominated a criminal knowing he was about to be put on trial. Being a suspected criminal is NOT a selling point, despite all the rebellious idiocy people have.

I mean, agree to disagree because I don't want to get into the legal weeds. But looking at the cases, they are not trumped up charges, heh.

 

Your party is nominating an senile old man who has a crooked son. That son has collected millions of dollars from the entities who are our enemies. The news media did everything it could to cover up that story during the 2020 presidential campaign.

Biden had classified documents for years in unsecure places, like his garage. He was not charged because the person who investigated the case said his senility would make him look too sympathetic to a jury. You are already "in the legal weeds" with your pathetic candidate.

I am not a Trump fan, but I have no choice. I would NEVER vote for Biden. If he were the only person on the ballot, I would leave it blank. I used to do that in Massachusetts elections when there was only candidate, a lazy, corrupt Democrat, on the ballot. "None of the above" was not an option.

 

I don't know what communist country you live in, but in America Trump is presumed innocent until proven guilty by an unbiased impartial jury of his peers...
The left just does not get it.... Americans are not looking so much at Trump as they are the witnessing of the total two tiered justice system and the fact if trump does not win this election... this country will not survive as a Constitutional Republic..... American voters are smarter than this..... and it will show come November...

I say put Trump in jail.... Trump in handcuffs would seal up the 2024 election win FOR Trump.... deny him his first amendment right....America is watching.

 

I hope you are right, but there are a lot of dumb people out there. Biden is buying votes votes with his illegal student loan forgiveness program. The biggest fear is the ballots which are cast by dead people, illegal immigrants and people who vote multiple times behind them.

 

Why are you guys pretending that Trump is the first criminal defendant in our nation's history to be under a gag order?

 

Judges can't and don't impose gag orders on the media or others who are not actually part of the case. Judges issue gag orders for criminal defendants literally every ****ing day. Trump also has terms for his release that he has to obey or be subject to jail pending trial . . . like every other criminal defendant.

 

And may I quote a man who lied about Romney not paying taxes and pulling the same kind of stunt..... using his pulpit and making the same claim on tax payer dime at every opportunity...

And then goes on national TV and rubs it right in our face..... Harry Reid: "He didn't win. did he?"

The ends justifies the means..... and it is so this time also...

 

If a guilty verdict is found then there will be an appeal. Eventually as an appeal moves through the courts Trump will be found not guilty. It may happen in this decade -- LOL

 

Because they wouldn't be able to claim Trump as a victim.

 

How does it set up a case for appeal? Does the gag order apply to what Trump says in the courtroom?

As far as I understand, Trump's speech within the courtroom is only governed by the rules of court procedure. Therefore, the gag order has no effect of limiting the defense that Trump can mount.

 

He's not senile, and he is not guilty for what his son did.

The guy wasn't a psychiatrist, nor was he friendly to Biden. Prosecutors bring charges if they think they can win, end of story. Though even if he had, it would not be on the same level as Trump, who was actively resisting giving them back.

Cases don't go to trial without evidence. The jury must assume he is innocent as a default position, but that doesn't mean everybody must ignore the evidence in the meantime. We will see just how powerful Fox News propaganda is, I guess.

 

The plan is to get the word "convicted" on Trump's name BEFORE the election... no matter what happens after... they want election interference and the end justifies the means..

 

Or in 2 or 3 or maybe even after he is dead.

Dude, you are trying to hold Trump to a special standard. Criminal defendants are put under gag orders all of the time and people are put in jail pending trial all of the time. Why do you guys pretend to not know this?
