    Yeah, "great news"; for islamist jihadist terrrorists, INCLUDING, but NOT LIMITED TO: Al Qeada, etc.

    We have stood by and watched, or even worse, ASSISITED in the islamist takeover of the Middle East, replacing ANTI-ISLAMIST REGIMES, with what will prove to be PRO-ISLAMIST, Islamofascist regimes.

    I'm afraid I have to agree. We have replaced horrible dictators with mobs of lunatic jihadists. The middle east is going to be infinitely more unstable and crazed. Thanks to The Lightworker for pushing this trend along and just think of what happened in Iran (and what Iran is like now days) for an idea of the future.

    This isn't an "Islamic revolution", the rebel forces are mainly just civilians who have been hurt by an insane dictator who ended up massacring many people right before civilians began taking up arms. What would you have us do, exactly?

    And, um, I'm pretty sure that Gadhafi wasn't anti-Islamic terrorism, either. In fact he was pretty anti-American and supported terrorism multiple times.

    Too bad for old Gadhafi. It is worth remembering that most successful revolutions end up like the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution. I wonder what Al Qaeda's role will be? Al Qaeda is part of the revolutionary coalition that Obama helped.

    There are Al Qaeda supporters in everywhere in the world. Its like saying we shouldn't support Joplin, Mo. because there may be skin heads there.

    The Libyan Islamic Fighting Group is an Al Qaeda franchise and a major component of the Libyan Revolution. The LIFG is where the revolution's most experienced warriors came from.

    I wish you were correct, but I don't believe that you are; the fact that the military leader of the Libyan "rebels" was just MURDERED by Al Qaeda operatives about two weeks ago , points to exactly what I outlined:

    You're right these things quite often don't end in an improved situation and the 'Terror' that followed the French Revolution is a perfect example. So is what followed Tsar Nicholas II, Saddam, the Shaw of Iran and so forth.

    It will be nothing if not interesting.

    The democracy that arises will probably more Islamic than it was before, however, it remains to be seen if it will be supporting terrorism.

    Gadhafi's mistake was to give up his nuclear weapons program to Bush. If Gadhafi had kept the program he might not be in this position now. The moral of this story is two fold. First, don't ever give up a nuclear weapons program. Second, don't expect good faith from America.

    The rebels are Libyan tribes.. which are the strongest tribes in North Africa and the ME.

    They have NEVER like Khadaafi.
