    Justice was served in this instance, only heinous crimes like this deserve capital punishment imo.

    These crimes are more dire than typical crimes because they are based on pre meditation and hate while other violent crimes that result in murder don't deserve the death penalty because they are based on oppression.

    He also admitted his guilt and this was a clear cut case closed death penalty.

    its because most of those crimes are of neccessity, they rob people for food because they are poor and the government isn't giving them enough welfare

    this type of crime is different its purely based on pre meditation and hate.

    Well, its a side issue, but being hungry and stealing something to eat is low on my radar.

    Back to the scumbag who just was sent to his final rest. Even this took 13 years from the time of his arrest.

    We need to get this down to less than five years. And we need to bring back public hanging.

    Anyway, lethal injection is too kind for scum like this. They should have dragged his ass around till he died.

    I am all for putting this creep in the ground but as a society it should be done with as little pain as possible. Not for the crimminal..but for society. He probably should have been dragged behind a pickup until dead. But the jury decides live or die...not the manner of death.

    They are, bit too often we have folks so poor, and maybe kids with parents not worth crap, who have to steal food just to maintain at a basic level. There is a lot of compassion out there for folks in that situation.

    They used to do it, and it seemed to work OK ;)

    Agree. Although I also think that if the manner of death penalty mimics the murder, that would probably deter quite a bit of crime!

    agreed there are kids and adults out there who get involved in crimes because they are poor and sometimes those crimes do end in murder, some consideration should be shown in those cases when it comes to the death penalty.

    crimes like this however which are solely based on hate and pre meditation should get the death penalty
