House and Senate Republicans will vote Yes on whatever totalitarian laws Obama wants. You live in a dream world that doesn't reflect modern RINO's.
    That or you're just dishonest.

Good thing he has a couple good choices. Its to bad that Rubio differs on him strongly on some positions. A Paul/Rubio team would be hard for Obama to beat.

I posted the unedited interview. He answered the questions multiple times during that interview. He was asked the same questions the day before as well on CNN. Its not my problem you dont like the answers.

RP seems to be one of those whose biological age is younger than his chronological age. He's very active and has shown so far to hold up well to the rigors of the campaign. Remember, also, that both his parents made it into their 90's.

That being said, I'm not sure he would be a 2 term president so I do agree that his VP choice is critical. Really, though, we're never sure about anything with anyone so VP should always be a careful consideration.

it doesnt matter if you vote for either of those two,you will still be voting for evil and thats why we need paul in because he is the only candidate here to serve the people instead of the establishment and the only one who wont be a willing puppet for them.

The problem is, you do. It's like saying it's not your problem your own child is filthy. The guy is a mute point as far as being president is concerned, but as a devisive amongst the voting cons, it's a great thing.

I cannot imagine G. Bush had the brain power to plan 9/11 or the ability to not let the cat out of the bag if he knew.

You need a new handle. How is anyone going to take anything you say seriously? This is why Ron Paul will not win. The fringe lunatics are all behind him and that is the best reason not to vote for him.

LOL. So even though a leader from the GOP is proclaiming that Ron Paul be elected, or else. You people still take the side of the Media, and demonize him over a debunked myth.

I want to defeat Obama. I don't like these threats from these Paul supporters. This election is to important to be wasted on some ego maniac running third party. If Ron Paul wants to be president win the (*)(*)(*)(*)ing GOP nomination, otherwise, (*)(*)(*)(*) off.

A logical fallacy is your *best* reason not to vote for him? I'd hate to see what you'd call a bad reason.

It's funny, this has come down to a 30% for Romney and 70% for someone else in the GOP race. The only people really left for the "someone else" category are Ron Paul, Santorum, and Huntsman. Santorum and Huntsman never had their spotlight and probably never will. Now all that's left is to see if the "someone else" or "not Romney" people will choose Ron Paul or give up to Romney. MnBillyBoy seems to think they will give in to Romney. I think that they are still smart enough to know that a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama 2.0.

Gee it's all about Romney losing..interesting.
    ahh..Noted.:)

So if Romney loses..and Obama wins...

    Conservatives lose.
If Paul wins and Romney loses...Conservatives lose.

If Paul wins and Obama loses..conservatives still lose.
If Romney wins ..the nation wins.

I think anyone can see the difference.

    It isn't about conservatives winning.
It's about the nation uniting behind a moderate.
One with many conservative shared values V. liberal, progressive and libertarian theories on defense and taxes.

    plain and simple..

    Ask yourself.
Conservative V. Progressive or libertarian ??

    Duh !
    Romney 2012.

I liked Romney but the more he opens his mouth the less I like him. While Paul has a few issues that I disagree with they are fewer than the ones that keep popping up with Romney. Romney is Obama 2.0, he will say whatever he thinks you want to hear. If you like him you should just vote for Obama.

I will vote for Ron Paul if he is the candidate, if he is not then I will vote for whoever is not Obama. If you care about this country you will do the same.

This one is is pretty straightforward. Despite all the attempts to hide Paul, he has simply become too popular to silence and too powerful to ignore.
The Republican party hates him and he despises the Republican party, but they simply cannot win this election without him.
For better or worse, he holds the ability to dictate the outcome of this race. He has shown that he's willing and capable of denying the Republicans the WH if his demands aren't met. A lot of folks might not like that, but it doesn't change the situation on the ground. His supporters won't back anybody but him, and the Republicans can't win without those supporters.
He will almost certainly run 3rd party if he doesn't get the nomination. Even if he doesn't, his base will go to write-ins and Johnson. Either way, Obama wins.

The establishment Republicans hate this, but they're powerless to stop it. You folks may as well stop whining and get with the program, 'cuz the Pauliacs ain't listening. Their loyalty to his ideals overrides their loyalty to the Republican party and they have already made up their minds. They hold all the cards and this thing is gonna go their way or it ain't gonna go.
Your choice now. You want to back Paul as the nominee, or you want Obama for 4 more years? Which is your priority?

I'd like to add to this. There are people that might disagree with you and say "Can't Romney or any other candidate do the same and run third party?" and the answer is no. Why? Because it would qualify as absolute political suicide. Anyone that would do that would have no future in politics. Ron Paul already has no future in politics if he doesn't win since he has no plans to run for congress again. Ron Paul has nothing to lose if he did such a thing. The only issue is that his principles might keep him from doing that but then again his principles might push him to threaten to do that to beat Obama.

The neo-cons must ask themselves a very important question. Which is worth more, re-electing Obama to beat Ron Paul or electing Ron Paul to beat Obama?

More to the point, no other candidate's supporters have the take-it-to-the-wall commitment of Paul supporters. No other candidate's supporters would willingly jump ship for them. They'll get behind whoever the Republican nominee ends up being.
As for Paul, he has never supported an establishment Republican for President before, and there's no reason to think he'd do so now. If you recall, he endorsed all the third parties last cycle over McCain, effectively torpedoing his chances.

The establishment Republicans don't understand Paul's thought process, but thankfully they don't need to. All they need to know is that they will either nominate him or else they will lose.

This is the absolute truth that status quo republicans must come to terms with. How can you not see it? It's flagrant and flown in your faces on a daily basis.

The republican party is full of big government progressive globalists. It's profitable to be a big government crony sharing power over the people with global corporations. That is exactly what Obama is doing!
