I smell another Bankruptcy right around the corner. I can only wonder if one of those 15 vehicles in the parking lot was an Insta Shred truck? The FBI needs to get some boys out there the instant they file for chapter 11. All we taxpayers can do is hold our breath and wait to see if this is another Obama administration submarine, headed under it goes with millions of tax dollars going with it.

You seem to be rooting for American businesses to fail, as long as you can point the finger at Obama.

That is sad and very un-american of you.

Solar Industry Shows Massive Job Growth, Now Topping 100,000

According to the report, more than 100,000 people are employed in the U.S. solar industry. Almost half of the solar firms in the report said they planned to hire more workers in the next twelve months, with a total of 24,000 new jobs created.

40 lost compared to 24,000 created.

    Thanks Obama.

Yes, it's very "un-american" to hope that a government subsidized business, who starts up knowing they will fail within a year but does so anyway to steal millions or billions from the taxpayer, will fail. Great point.

If they were crappy no one would buy them, but they are selling it for a lot cheaper. Thank our costly regulations, high taxes, and your local union goon.

You forgot to mention the non existent tariffs that once helped make the US a great manufacturing nation and protected US jobs and kept taxes low.

    Nice myth. Here's the reality:

    http://washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columnists/2011/11/more-green-energy-jobs-exposed-myths

Give me 24,000 jobs created where the employees are still working them two years later and I might believe your triplepundit kook blog that sites nothing but the biased Solar Foundation.

Even if we make the big assumption that the Examiner article is accurate, how does that show the figures from the article I posted are "myth"?

There is so much potential in this industry... I don't understand how these businesses can be messing it up so badly.

Apparenlty, the vast majority of the businesses are not messing it up and the industry is experiencing rapid growth,

Despite the Solyndra collapse that has tarnished solar energy, the industry has grown into "a major economic force" with a job base that expanded 6.8% the past year, nearly 10 times faster than the overall economy, industry representatives said Tuesday.

The solar business is now a $6 billion industry, up 300% from 2006, said officials with the Solar Foundation, a nonprofit affiliated with solar energy industry.

With 100,237 jobs as of August, solar employers expect their workforce to grow 24% next year, according to the foundation's National Solar Jobs Census 2011, completed in partnership with BW Research Partnership's Green LMI Consulting division and Cornell University.

So was Cassandra. No one believed her prophecies until it was too late.

There are a bunch of other solar/green energy companies about to go belly up. Crony capitalism.

They are a myth because they haven't happened yet. Once they do get back to us with some facts.

And your evidence that the solar industry has not grown into a 100,000+ job industry is .....?

    ((((((((((((((((((((((((((((sigh))))))))))))))))))))))))

Prof - read it again please - they have already accounted for waaaaaay more than your paltry 40 people and the industry is growing

So the only fail I see here are those who are desperately looking for an excuse to call both the alternate energy system and Obama a "fail"

I appreciate your own self serving voucher. I was thinking you might have something more substantial. Based on your previous posts, why I would logically think that, I admit I have no idea.
