President Trump's wall is doing just fine, one small section notwithstanding. In fact, we now have another wall paid by Mexicans, which also works fine. We now have us two walls!

DT said during his campaign that Mexico wouldn't pay for the wall directly as the optics for them would be bad but there are other ways, and he suggested tariffs as a possibility, to have them pay. I believe them sending their troops to their southern border is costing them some money and saving us uber money.

 

Exactly. The new trade agreements and enforcement by the Mexican government of their southern border and crackdowns on the caravans and those applying for refugee status in Mexico have paid for wall construction.
