4 million to 5 million in 17 days

I hope all of you understand that we're past the point of correcting this with masks and social distancing. Its going to take a nation wide maximum-effect shutdown lasting up to 2 months to stop the escalation of new cases. And since we wont do that we're basically months away from a mini-apocalypse where sporadic collapses of entire cities (and a few states) start occurring as healthcare implodes, the supply lines of food and goods cracks due to mass sickness, and the collapse of policing due to mass unrest creates outright anarchy. We're not most of us going to die but none of us will live well in whatever ashes we're left to rebuild with.

So enjoy the summer people, live it up, we short-sold our futures for a few months of "peaceful protesting" and anti-mask belligerence. America was so strong that the only thing that could destroy it was America itself.

Deaths are not being undercounted... They are being OVERCOUNTED because everything and its mother is being classified as a "covid death".

Masks do not stop nor prevent the spread of viruses. That is not what masks are for.

 

A separate issue, but yes, that is correct. Some people are going to die from Covid-19 without being tested.

You have zero proof that Covid-19 deaths are being over-counted to any significant degree.

An analysis of excess deaths is substantial proof that Covid-19 deaths are being under-counted to a significant degree.

 

Why would you want to collect virus particles in the moisture of your own mask? Even if it does reduce the viral count to others, it would make you prone to collecting more of it yourself, in the most high-risk place of all, the moisture of your own mask.

Mask wearing has always seemed like a fool's folly to me, and the millions of mask wearers who have already contracted the virus seem to prove my point.

The US has about 4% of the world's population yet just over 25% of the world's COVID cases. The doctor fails to mention that out of five million cases, we are well on our way to three million recoveries with still less than 200k deaths. It’s a reoccurring trend, isn’t it once you stop to think about it?

Dwell on the hospitalizations, dwell on the deaths, but never talk about the millions of lives that have recovered. And who didn’t think there was going to be a third wave in fall? Flu and cold season.
