Appeasing the Soviet taking of Central Europe was criminal?

I wonder what the tens of millions of people murdered by communism would think?

The fact that human beings can study Marxism at a university is to our everlasting shame. It is by far the most destructive ideology in human history.

Marxists are by definition bad people.

So, thus far you have responded to my claim that Ho wasn't interested in democracy by claiming I didn't know much about 'uncle Ho', claimed he 'wasn't much of a Marxist' until the nasty Americans upset him. Now you are saying desperately splitting hairs by claiming he was still not a Marxist but a bit of a Leninist with some Mao thrown in - not a distinction he made at the time. This brings us back to Ho not being much interested in democracy, which was my first point. He made it clear at the time he was not interested in democracy and even a cursory glace at Ho's behaviour shows to be true. So you have ended up arguing not only against history, but against yourself.

In short, you are poorly informed and just making up new and contradictory arguments post by post. I'll leave you to it. Like I said, go do some reading.

As I recall my history, we were still a bit preoccupied at the time....

Lots of dreaming going on in this thread

We had just defeated hitler, american soldiers were looking forward to fighting our ally

The idea that russia could have been easily defeated is ludicrous

And once again, you try to have me saying something that I never said. I did not even mention Mao, because at that time he was just one of many Communist splinter groups from the ROC running around the countryside. One moment joining the ROC in fighting the Japanese, then in another fighting the ROC and ignoring the Japanese.

So even trying to mention Chairman Mao in the context of 1945 Vietnam would be stupid in the extreme. And obviously something I never said. In fact, I said nothing even close to that, I mentioned Confucious however.

Sorry, this is not the first time you have misquoted me or implied I have said things I did not say. And as far as I am concerned, I am completely finished with this. I do not enter into conversations with dishonest people that will twist the words of others to try and prove their points.

Once again you have evaded your own errors and added a few more to the list. You are the one who compared Vietnamese Communism to Chinese Communism, not me. Your ignorance of Ho Chi Minh's experiences with the Communists in China (where he served as a Major in the PLA for a time) and their long term interactions with his own thinking once again demonstrates why you should not discuss this topic. You quite literally do not know what you are talking about.
