When I was twelve years old my parents gave me a copy of the New English Bible copy of the New Testament. When I read it, I noticed that the Divinity of Jesus is only asserted in the Gospel of St. John. Even there, Jesus is portrayed as subordinate to God the Father. This violates the Doctrine of the Trinity, which holds that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost are equal in power and might. I continue to be a Christian and I continue to attend church regularly.
The Trinity, somebody talks to your face, that is you. Someone calls you on the telephone, that is still you talking to them. Someone send you a text, that is still them communicating with you. This is my analogy of the Trinity.
Above is in the OP. I know this thread has been dead. But someone resurrected it. Since the OP put note 3 in the OP. In order for this thread to even have began, the FACTs of this god even existing should have been proven before the 1st discussion began. Where's the establishment of this god. Where are the assumptions detailed? Has the god in question for this thread been established? Or does it have to be assumed? It's the god of Abraham, the god that spawned Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. That alone calls into question the accuracy of christianity. Then, which of the 1000s of version of christianity is to be focused on?
divinity denied? The way I phrase it is divinity questioned. No evidence yet presented is compelling to me.But, your right to believe what you do… have the faith you do. What is the test for divinity?
