This is unprecedented and we are expecting to break records with this heat wave on land.

    So let the excuses begin

    “It’s the sun”
    upload_2019-12-18_12-22-2.jpeg

    Oops no!

    It’s orbital wobbles

    upload_2019-12-18_12-26-34.jpeg

    Oops no!

    “The climate has always changed”

But not without something causing the change and the proponents of this theory never tell you what might be causing THIS change

It's called weather. No statistical change in temperature in the US for two decades.

Heat waves are nothing new in Australia. The two the killed the most were in 1895 and 1938.

    Its weather.

The unprecedented droughts long ago are thought to have ended the mayan civ.

Funny how climate agw folks seem almost pleased with bad weather!

For me, being fed up with the alarmists I almost hope they are right. They want to implode economies which would devastate western populations and that is how we kill off these alarmists.

Australia needs to stop exporting so much coal.

Also, if its citizens would just pay more in taxes, it would fix the weather.

What is happening in Australia is tragic. I think of not only the human suffering but Australi's precious reefs.

Not one bit. She was born to obey and sneer. She’s good at it. Everyone has a talent, and being obnoxious while looking like a demon is something not all of us can script or do on command, she can. Kudos to the leftist pawn.

    Good point

They did a survey and people said what they would be willing to pay to halt climate change. Being a miserable lot we said $200/ year
    https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-12...limate-change-and-what-you-could-get/11784704

So what would we get if we did spend that?

Well it all adds up and it would come to $4 billion per year kitty
The article continues on describing how we could fit rooftop solar to most houses and end up with near free electricity or buy more home battery systems and decentralise the grid
Hmmmm climate change action that pays for itself! Now that is a good idea!

And yet this “leftist pawn” has made her mark bring climate change to the attention of more people again

Be prepared “extinction rebellion” is only the beginning

There are boulders in NYC’s Central Park that we’re dragged there by glaciers which are long gone. In upstate New York the Finger Lakes were carved out by receding glaciers. This, we were told, comes from men of science. Do I even remotely need to explain my point?

Anyone who wants to whine about global warming should never be caught driving a car, using air conditioning, flying in a plane, owning a boat, live in a mansion, etc, because that just kills their argument that we all need to sacrifice but not them.

Ah! The “the climate has always changed” defence

So, what is causing THIS change?

I also adore how “science” is believed only when it suits

All while her crew flies on jets to catch up with her.

Let me ask you an honest question: whose carbon footprint is larger, we the people or the elites telling us to reduce our carbon footprint?

China and India? Go yell at them.

What caused the oxygen levels to decrease from almost 300 million years ago?

Rain, hopefully, but chances are slim, like they've always been.

    It’s not a defense, it’s a fact.

Why don’t you tell me what caused THIS change. Then you can tell me where the Wisconsin Glacier went that once covered most of N America. Hit me with some science.

I think it all melted causing the Great lakes, rolling hills and flattened Illinois. :)
