Now obviously if you're riding around in a white hood burning crosses you're a racist but what I want to ask is at what point do we define a racist in modern society? For me I'd say if you treat people differently and make assumptions based on the colour of their skin. And that goes in both directions.
It's clearly a much more complex and nuanced topic than such a simplistic poll can cover (for example, you seem to think there are only two "directions" for racism) and I'm really not sure what positive benefits you imagined this thread would achieve.
Firstly I would say it promotes discussion and this is always a good thing (and what this forum is for). And when I say 'both directions' I mean that it includes both positive and negative assumptions.
I think if a person even glances in the direction of a red hat in a store they should immediately be arrested and convicted and given 30 years, their home should be turned over to a black family and their children sold in to sex slavery as long as 10% of the proceeds from the sex slavery goes to the DNC. That is my belief.
All of us have biases, whether through family and friends or our own personal life experiences, we develop these biases and have the potential to be bigots because of them. Being aware of one's biases should enable oneself to prevent their biases from pre-judging people before all the facts are available. Not doing so is what leads to racist actions, whether consciously or unconsciously.
You 'cross the line' into racism when you take courses in biology, physiology, and genetics. There actually ARE significant, measurable differences between the three main races of humanity. Geneticists have known this for decades! But now it's politically ANATHEMA to point any of these differences out. Amazing tidbit: According to the latest research, the Oriental (East-Asian) race has the highest overall IQ... not the "White" (Caucasian) race! Famous quote: Ignorance is curable with the application of knowledge... but doctrinaire stupidity is not.
Anyone who engages in identity politics, and/or... Judges a person by the color of their skin - assigning them to a "group", and them pronouncing them guilty of "crimes" they've selectively associated with that group. In short - the Democratic Party, BLM, ACLU, Black Panthers, KKK, Nazis, Marxists, and all authoritarians for that matter. Did I miss anyone??
I want an established pattern of conduct, rather than one incident, and I normally like to exclude other explanations.
