What is the best diet that we have found in the world at this time? Vegan and vegetarian people seem to be smaller on average than people with a balanced diet. Is this because they do not intake as much calcium and other ingredients within regular, balanced diet foods that make the body composition thicker and larger? Also, are meats and non-vegan products more addicting that vegan and vegetarian foods? Are vegans and vegetarians projected to live longer than regular, balanced dieters? Also, what is the mental and bodily affect of alcohol consumption on the brain and body? Does weekly, moderate alcohol consumption make a person slower intellectually and cause them to have worse memory retention and less brain capacity overall, as well as, in the long and short term? Does moderate alcoholic consumption negatively affect the body and make it look less healthy, athletic or fit? What are the pros and cons of having moderate consumption of alcohol in your weekly diet? Are people on average slower intellectually at work and studying if they drink moderately per week?
Vegan is a terrible diet, stick to variety of whole foods without preservatives. Some foods have added whey protein which increases testosterone ie low fat milk to improve flavour etc. You're better of with lower quantities of full cream milk YouTuber Kalel No Longer Vegan: Admits To Eating Eggs And Meat
Minimizing animal products, if not entirely eliminating them, is still a viable diet plan. For example, maybe put a serving of beans on the plate and a smaller portion of meat.
Don't overcook fats. Avoid foods that have had trace nutrients processed out of them. Avoid preservatives and artificial flavors. Sweeten with honey instead of sugar. And most importantly, eat variety.
processed foods are bad. prepared foods are bad. single ingredient foods are good, ie: beef, poultry, fish, fruits, veggies... it's what we add to them that causes issues. everything in moderation, don't over eat.
but she wanted to know the best diet, I say keto is the best diet with lots of low carb veggies, but hard for most to follow I would at least go for low carb, moderate protein and higher good fats, stay away from processed foods, sugar (this includes fruit juices and honey) and heavily processed seed oils like Crisco, ect.. Vegans can do a keto diet, but it's harder
Not going into the comparison to vegetarians, vegans and the rest of us. I get irritated by vegans, but have little problem with vegetarians. Moderate alcohol consumption is not harmful to the brain or body. Now, it may be harmful to the brain if children drink too much alcohol, but for an adult, they've found that the healthiest people are moderate alcohol consumers. Not saying that is because of the alcohol, but at the least, it isn't harmful.
Ironically most of the damage from alchol is the same as that from fructose (sugar is half fructose).... neither is bad unless to much consumed over long periods, but the dose does make the poison they say soda is actually worse then alchol as alchol gets you drunk so you tend not to drink as much, pop and fruit juice some consume like water
i've replaced butter with xvoo (xtra virgin olive oil), great on smashed potatoes too! just make certain that the xvoo is naooa certified, lots of 'fake' olive oils out there...
yeah, fake olive oils is so irritating, want to eat healthy and someone tries to sneak cheap seed oil in their stuff - I do still eat butter though, but for salads is red wine vinegar and olive oil I mix it up on veggies, sometimes butter, sometimes olive oil, sometimes coconut oil
To avoid more problems with kidney stones, I am on a lacto-ovo vegetarian diet: dairy, eggs but no meat, fish or poultry -- a diet my doctor approves of. Meat may be more valuable for growing bodies but a senior citizen like myself can probably coast through their last years on little or no meat.
you probably already know this, just something I saw recently about lemons helping, so sharing, I have never had a kidney stone (knock on wood), but hear they are very painful, hopefully you find some relief from the new diet
