It's not for us to determine alternative. That's the world of US regime change. We know how well that worked out.

Actually yes....... it is my job to attempt to make ethical decisions........
relatively speaking........ that fit within the set of circumstances that I find myself in........

    Perfectionism...... is kind of scary..........

Once we actually toss our hats in the ring.... we have to consider such questions more carefully.....

Would killing over a million in Iraq be deemed to be ethical? Nope!

The likes of Britain and the US do have an opportunity to be ethical in their decision-making. For example, they should cease all arms deals with Saudi Arabia. The US supplied the bomb that killed 40 children killed in Yemen

I admit that he could have done a whole lot better but..........
considering his circumstances................. I stand by my statement:

Presidents Reagan and President George W. Bush, my two favourite American Presidents.

    That is an excellent point......

I read about the Weimar's economic demise and hyperinflation back when I was twelve in 1973, and you are just now finding out?

It is not a case of regime change. Bit obvious really.

Out of interest, did you support the Iraq War that led to over a million civilian deaths? I watched Shock and Awe yesterday. It did a good job in demonstrating how Americans became sheep to right wing lies. Is it just an example of how nationalism out-trumps rational thinking?

I supported WW2 which led to 60 million deaths. As long as you are getting rid of libcommie statists it's probably worth while. But, I did not support Iraq war because:
    1) intelligence from all over the world was not verified
    2) if we did Iraq then we needed to do Iran too and nobody had the stomach for that.

But you still vote for the politicians that initiated an illegal war?

    Truly well said.........
I know it sounds kind of naive.... .but I really do think that America is on the edge of a massive economic boom.........
part of which is fuelled by OPTIMISM..........
I am convinced that within five to ten years most Americans will be able to look back at 2008 - 2018 and generally agree that the time of the Obama administration was one of relative PESSIMISM..... in comparison to the atmosphere that President Donald J. Trump is creating on Wall Street.........

I am personally so optimistic about the next two decades that I take a prediction from 1973 very, very, very seriously:

Could a real estate boom plus better Fed policy pay off USA national debt?

I just found such an exceptionally insightful explanation on the forum that I had to put it in front of you Sir!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...n-of-the-dollar.515180/page-6#post-1069805298

Are tens of millions of Americans about to experience devaluation of the dollar?
