"By proceeding with their objections to the electors after the violent attack, Senators Cruz and Hawley lent legitimacy to the mob’s cause and made future violence more likely,"
    In other words....
Because there was a riot at the Capitol, it was unethical for these Senators to voice their opinion re: the electoral count.

Fauci ought to be thankful that Biden is in and Trump is out. People will shun "My Pillow.com" and come to Coop Home Care for their better pillow and the work better.

That would be to prove that wearing a mask reduces the spread.
Problem is, the virus isn't cooperating.

Biden is being busy with things that have to be done. The Democrats have their work cut out for them.

Life was fantastic for the three years prior the tyranny justified by the virus.

For you maybe, but not for the millions of American living in poverty in 2019:

The 2019 poverty rate of 10.5 percent is the lowest rate observed since estimates were initially published in 1959 (Figure 7 and Table B-5). In 2019, there were 34.0 million people in poverty, approximately 4.2 million fewer people than 2018 (Figure 7 and Table B-1).

And of course half the population couldn't find $1000 from savings in an emergency (google it), the very definition of living pay-check to pay-check ie chronic financial insecurity.

Poverty rate was in a fairly rapid decline. Google that.

As my quote already stated; but 35 million people in poverty in not equivalent to your claim "life was fantastic".

And FYI, Trump could have saved a projected (by March 2021) half a million lives if he had directed the Fed to fund food, rent and mortgages and essential utilities, for as long as the pandemic lasts, as even mainstream economists nowaccept their government deficit mythology is wrong.

Comical claims by mainstream economists that the facts have changed – Bill Mitchell – Modern Monetary Theory (economicoutlook.net)

    (the above is a link)

The Financial Times editorial last week (January 14, 2021) – A fiscal policy for all seasons – held the publication out as a new messenger of fiscal dominance, claiming that “fiscal orthodoxy has changed”.

    How do we know that?

    Well the editors write:

Organisations such as the IMF and the OECD have told governments that, with low interest rates seemingly here to stay, the costs of excessive borrowing are much lower for advanced economies than previously thought.

Previously thought by them but not any economist who actually understood what the capacities of the fiat monetary system actually are.

Anyway, apparently, “the aim of balancing the budget can, at least temporarily, be dropped.”

Apprently also, this is now an accepted view across the political spectrum.

And the right-wing think tanks also support it.

Hopefully BIden can now resist objections from recalcitrant Rebub politicians re the size of government deficits
