Daily news hasn't criticized the border crisis for example. Daily news hasn't commented on the lack of leadership of the CDC/NIH/WHO/Fauci during the pandemic for example...Oh no, today's daily news shows Biden is in big trouble.

VP Harris is, IMO, being intentionally kept away from the turmoil of the Afghanistan crisis.
Cabinet officials of the Biden Administration disagree publicly with statements made by Biden concerning Afghanistan.

I think non-dems are playing into the hands of those dems who want Harris as president. Better be careful if what you wish for is a Biden impeachment 'cause, IMO, dems want that too. Have dems always wanted to impeach Biden?

 

Biden has a 49.4% approval rating.

Even with the crisis in Afghanistan....

Trump was at 37.2% at the same time of his disastrous presidency.

Biden isn't going anywhere, besides a fairly easy re-election in 2024.

It's the negative ratings by almost all news organizations that is the worrisome feature for Biden...That was in one of the first sentences of my OP...Not approval rating by Americans...BTW, elites don't care about approval ratings. Elites care about what they care about (and try to make that happen).

What I propose is there is a conspiracy to impeach Biden (and replace with Harris) by certain dems. Who knows? Was this always their intention?

 

What exactly was disastrous of the Trump presidency? Was it any or all of his economic records including the low unemployment rates of all minorities? Was it his resolve in keeping our southern border safe from illegal intrusion? Was it making America energy independent? Was it his sole resolve to fight and take on all the lying russian hoax dems? Was it his peace initiatives in the Mideast and Israel? Was it Trump's exposure of the deep state (mostly dems) from the top down? Was it his gathering American patriots by the tens of thousands who flew the American flag(s), who proudly sang the National Anthem without resorting to taking a knee the way lefties do?

 

All fantastic achievements.

But, sadly, he made a mockery of a pandemic that killed 620,000+ Americans.

So the families of the victims thanked him warmly on November 3.

 

This is a side note to the thread, I know, but, if you wanna be correct about it, the CDC/NIH/WHO/Fauci made a mockery of the pandemic when they decided it was acceptable to quarantine the highly susceptible to Covid with the not so susceptible to Covid and decided it was acceptable to quarantine the non Covid-sick with the Covid-sick.
Yeah, and the CDC/WHO/NIH/Fauci touts mask wearing to prevent the spread and death from Covid.

 

The trouble with that thinking, besides being false, is President Biden hasn't done anything impeachable.

 

The mockery that a saw was that of pelosi, biden and other such prominent dems as they ridiculed Trump for placing a ban of Chinese travel. And oh how they mocked Trump for suggesting the virus came from the Wuhan lab. But I didn't see many if any dems mocking Trump for his pushing through 3 viable vaccines in warp speed time. The one person we know is in bed with the Chinese is of course Biden and his son Hunter. So if anyone is to be blamed for the thousands of deaths by this China virus...it would be China Joe.

Under normal circumstances, a President with a below 50% approval rating has a difficult time winning but with right around 50 it is possible to win. Three and a half years is a lifetime in politics, thus looking at an approval rating right now means literally nothing.

Biden is not a normal circumstance however. If he does finish out his term, the odds of him running again are probably already slim. He was too old in 2020. The notion of him running and winning again in 2024 makes him WAY past too old. At his current age and clearly failing health, he probably has a 20% chance of dying before 2024. With his current level of cognition, I doubt very much the Democrat establishment has any intentions of him being the nominee in 2024. Have you ever watched a grandparent deteriorate in their later years? Three and a half years is a LOT of deterioration for people that have already started down that path.

When you calculate the odds of him winning in 2024, you need to figure the odds of him still being alive, the odds of him not having deteriorated much further cognitively, and then the roughly 50/50 proposition of a Democrat beating a Republican. On top of that, there is a very real possibility that he would choose to not run which he already hinted at during the 2020 campaign. With all of those factors considered, to claim that he is a shoe in in 2024 is more than just a little silly.

Yeah, the American people love inflation, open borders, humiliating defeats and retreats, 30 trillion debt, CRT indoctrination, defund the police+more crime combo, and dogmatic/unscientific/gutless vaccine and mask mandates from now till eternity.

That's a huge (conspiratorial) accusation; I haven't heard any proof from you (or any names of the conspirators). IMO, this is ridiculous. As @Arkanis beat me to the punch, at this worst point in Biden's Presidency-- the terrible Afghan optics, the resurgence of Covid, thanks to the Delta variant, which is also affecting business; not to mention, the end of the eviction moratorium-- Biden's approval number is still higher than Trump's EVER was. According to the new NBC poll, while Biden's disapproval has risen from 43, in May, to now 48, that is still 2 points below his approval rating.

Up to this Afghan misstep, which Biden has competently set back on the right course, Biden has been politically brilliant, navigating the substantial challenges in front of him better than either Obama or Clinton, at this point in their presidencies; he's been making his experience count! No one is impeaching him-- that's only a partisan Republican's, wet dream.

 

Wasn't one of the promises or pledges of being president.....to protect and keep Americans safe? How well do you think useless joe is living up to that pledge with his open border policy at our southern border, that is allowing drug cartels, unvaccinated COVID spreaders, current and future welfare recipients, the killing of American jobs, child trafficking, criminals, and with his insane order to abruptly leave thousands of Americans and their counterparts at the mercy of terrorist killers-be-headers over in Afghanistan? Surely he should be court marshalled for at least not living up to his pledge to keep America safe. Derelict of duty is just the start of his many corruptive failures.

 

That's what democracy is for. Impeachment requires charges. You have none. Back to the drawing board.

 

Re election in 2024? He might not make out of his first term, and who’s going to run then Harris?
