Yeah I get it, you feel the US did them wrong at some point before most of us were born. So you feel that somehow justifies them requiring 100s of millions of dollars in welfare every year to subsist. I would like them to become a self-reliant nation and not just a blight upon the world. It sounds like you believe they deserve and have no problem with them just living off charity ad infinitum.

Aleks, look at the history yourself! Haiti was independent, and rid of slavery in 1804!

Who elected the Duvalier thug-family of criminals to power in Haiti? Americans?

In a larger sense, why is it that nearly every nation on Earth that is ruled by Blacks becomes notoriously criminal, corrupt, and ruled by military "strong men" who enjoy great wealth themselves, but make everyone else in their country live in poverty, disease, and squalor. How many Americans voted for that?!

Not everything in the world is America's fault, Aleks, and that certainly includes a shithole like Haiti....

As citizen I am guarantied by the federal government the sovereignty of MY nation and the protection of it's borders from unauthorized entry.

It's a country that has only survived because of our benevolence. What they did with that and the results are their fault.

Haiti was exploited big time. Even General Smedley Butler knew he was just down there as muscle for the capitalists exploiting the Haitians.

"I served in all commissioned ranks from second lieutenant to Major General. And during that period I spent most of my time being a high-class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer for capitalism. I suspected I was just part of the racket all the time. Now I am sure of it." - Major General Smedley Butler, US Marine Corps

And just so we know the Biden administration is still trying to "fix" this...

Ok... you have the floor... so, tell us, who was this guy a "racketeer" for? The Government of the United States of America?

Americans, and many, many others do business all over the world... can you be a little bit more specific?

Because he's left the front door open.

BTW they aren't sending all the Bidenville Hatians home, but they are sending some younger males home. They attacked a pilot and 3 dhs officers yesterday.

Foreign aid isn't charity, it's investment.

An investment is only smart if it grows and you get something in return. What do we get for investing in perpetual 3rd world slums?

Prosperous trading partners. It may take a very long time but a characteristic of governments is that they can make such investments

Obviously their home is ****ed, or they wouldn’t have come here. Making the journey to America means they have worked harder for it than 90% of the people that happen to be born here. What are you afraid of letting them in?
    Covid? It’s already here
Democratic votes? Both the democrats and the republicans are ****ed up parties anyway. Who gives a ****. Human lives are more important than politics.
Do they talk funny? They probably think you do too.
Is their skin too dark? That’s as ridiculous as liberals being afraid of black rifles.

They’re human beings trying to find a better life. Americans are no better or worse than any other human beings on this planet.

BS. It is routinely stolen and only contributes to the endemic corruption.

They didn't spontaneously decide to travel thousands of miles across the sea through multiple countries to get to the border.

This is organized and we can't save the 3rd world even if we wanted to.

All it will do is drag the US down.

Your post suggests something known as demoralization. Its a shame because it is unrecoverable.

Its a shame to see someone who once thought his country was worth fighting for, now nihilistic.

It absolutely is worth fighting for. But as something greater than a bunch of selfish people so wrapped up in divisive politics and skin color that they can’t recognize human beings in need. You’ve said yourself that sending aid is no use because their country is too corrupt. What other choice would someone have other than to find a greater country?

I am quite the opposite of nihilistic. I’ve just grown wise to the game that the elites are playing, either by dividing Americans to stay in power, or by exploiting other nations like Haiti or other developing nations. Maybe Haiti hasn’t been exploited recently, it the damage was done in the fairly recent past, by us and other western nations.

One thing I am quite sick of is this “America first” thing. It should be America first in leading the way to improving the life of all of humanity. Real global leadership. Americans have become a bunch of greedy little cowards in recent decades, only concerned with keeping their ridiculously high quality of life, and to hell with the rest of the world. I find that nauseating.

Haiti is literally the poorest nation in the western hemisphere and has been for centuries. Even their island neighbors in DR show them up.

Who made this about skin color? I didn't.

    The left has.

If you want America to lead the world it will involve teaching the 3rd world the principles needed to sustain THEMSELVES, rather then us taking them in.

There are many barriers there, from IQ to corruption to historical events and so on.
I'm not even blaming Haiti alone, look at what the Clinton's did to Haiti.

You are never going to get global leadership from Biden.

Obviously. Biden is one of the worst presidents we have ever had. Trump is right behind him. We need to get some real leadership back in the whitehouse. We’ll see what 2024 will bring.

As far as skin color, MANY here have been mentioning skin color, and it hasn’t been from the left, though they often bring up skin color in other topics.

I’m fully behind teaching the third world these principles, but it must be done in a way that does not exploit them, as Microsoft has done in Africa. Neocolonialism is a very real thing. We need to teach them expecting absolutely nothing in return except the betterment of humanity.
