This isn't a skin color issue.

This is a 3rd world reality issue.

You could "teach" them whatever you believe is best.

It will get torn apart in front of you.

I nearly went to Haiti to provide medical care.

I got all the required vaccines, state dept advisories, had made travel plans....then they started hanging tires around each others necks and lighting them on fire.

That was a few years ago prior to any environmental disasters or presidential assassinations.

And what front door would that be? Probably defending themselves but we know how this can be used as propaganda by some people.

You seem to think that the US can take in all the 3rd worlders from around the world otherwise we have no human compassion. What do you think the US would be like if we did just that? You are looking at this through some very rose colored glasses rather than the reality of the situation. If you flood the US with 3rd world people, we will become a 3rd world country. That's the bottom line.

BS. That's stupid. It's not the people that ruin a country, it is the systems in place and the conditions in their home countries. People are just people, no matter where they are from. You and those who think like you get wrapped in these stereotypes, thinking that everyone from haiti or other third world countries are barbarous, violent, disease ridden criminals. They are no different from you, except they speak a different langauge and may have a different skin color, which doesn't mean anything. It amazes me how self centered and selfish Americans can be. Get out and experience other cultures. Talk to them. You'll see the vast majority of humanity are seeking the same thing wherever they come from. Sure, there are bad apples wherever you go, including here in America. Other than those, however, these people are no different than you or I.

Many of these Haitians dropped the identification of the countries they have lived in for years before storming the US. Biden said 'Storm the Border' and they obeyed. This is just another Biden disaster.

I stopped calling Wyoming my home when I moved to Maine.

I don't blame them for wanting to get to the US instead of somewhere south of the border. Do you?

They are not moving from one US state to another. They are invading a country that has borders but an unwilling President to control.

People can easily ruin a country and you're being naive to think otherwise. Believing we all have similar values and we're all the same sounds good on paper but reality tells us otherwise. That's part of the reason their home countries are the way they are and have not and will not get any better.

Wyoming and Maine? Those are both some nice areas, not to heavily populated and mostly white. Do you think those pretty and safe areas would remain as they are if a large population of these Haitians moved in? Honest answer please.

honestly, I found the Kurds I spent time with north of Mosul to be kinder, more community oriented, and more personable than those I spent time with in Wyoming. It was Green River Wyoming, a little coal town with too much meth running through it. It was ok, but I liked the Kurds a lot more.

I noticed you didn't actually answer my question, I didn't ask about Kurds in WY.

my answer is I honestly think it would not matter. If you dump them into a crime filled city, some may become criminals. We had some black immigrants come here that live up our road from Somalia, and they have been just fine. So, I don’t know why you think the color of ones skin of their country of origin is going to make them into a shitty person.

Of course they are here for the money. Money allows them to have a better life. Are you faulting them for wanting a better quality of life?

Fact most coming over across the river are not the most brilliant, the most talented, the most educated nor the most successful. Certainly not their fault but everyone in society plays a part, if you allow a million of these people in you are in turn hurting your country in the short and long term. People are people you are correct but people make the country great or poor, not the other way around. What is the problem with vetting and processing before they get here, I saw plenty Haitians walking around with an iphone, surely they could sign up online.

sorry, but our loss of excellency has nothing to do with who we let into our country. That comes from our crappy educational system. That has nothing to do with funding. It has to do with execution.
The people coming across those borders have no more or less potential than Americans. A good number of them could be far brighter than the average American. Being born here doesn’t make us brighter.

So it sounds like you would deny them refugee status then.

Sorry but you're not living in reality. It's great to say that these Haitians would be wonderful to have and beneficial to our country and would make great neighbors, and then reality comes and hits hard when it's anything but that. I'm not willing to sacrifice my country for them.

lol, our corporations and politicians are scamming you a lot more than the Haitians are, don’t worry.

im not sure I see this scam you are speaking of. Medical care and an education, and job opportunities? Is that what you are upset about?
