The UK has not benefited from membership in the EU while the EU has greatly benefited from the UK being in it monetarily.

Of course the EU still wants to keep the UK in and would keep it in by force if they only could.

The Netherlands doesn’t reciprocally benefit either I would be SO happy to see this country to be the next to leave!!

Let Germany pay for everything until they are economically exhausted and then Europe can return to what it was intended to be and each country can reassert it’s special identity.

As a recent immigrant to the EU you probably aren't aware of the many benefits membership of a common market has given the UK.
In the '60s and early '70s Britain was known, economically, as the sick man of Europe and were desperate to join.
During the 45 years we were members the UK rose to having the 4th largest GDP in the world, now the 5th.
The EU has its faults, the move towards federalisation being one of them, but to state (without evidence) that the UK has not benefited from membership is even more inaccurate than your nonsense about Sharia law.

 

I take an interest in politics and society.
I was born in Kent and have lived all my life in London.
I wouldn't call myself an expert on either Belgium or Holland.
However my experience over here is that the notion of Sharia law existing alongside UK law has never been suggested in any formal or credible setting whatsoever.

Both of those sources are speculation. have you actually read the stories?
One is from 11 years ago, one is from six years ago.
If they were anything more than speculation don't you think something would be established by now?

 

Yes this policy goes back a long time. The stories involve how cases were adjudicated within combined Anglo and Sharia law considerations.

One might also throw in the no go zones in the suburbs around Paris but that is another issue.
