What are the correct numbers? Given the 300 sexual assaults on German women a few years ago by immigrants and the disproportionately high number of rapes in southern Sweden and the the hebdo and mass killings in Paris, and the numbers of mass killings in several venues in Paris I would say migrants are already too many in number. You may view European women and even the general public in Europe as collateral damage in the greater effort for the brotherhood of man but I do not!! 2015, the East European failed to secure the EU border and let 1.5 million refugees in. Than they moved them west, even had trains full of refugees organized, to move them west. They did not want them and were unable to do the job of securing their borders against illegal crossing. Everybody including Austria dumped those refugee into Germany, by train, by bus and on foot.
What was Germany to do, dump them into France, Netherlands, Belgium and so on ?
Germany, Merkel did the only thing possible, deal with the problem in a human way and according with its constitution and than solve the problem of the Eastern Borders of the EU.
I think Germany did it rather well.

Merkel was right about it, because it is international and EU law. Waht the East European countries and Austria did was against the EU contracts. They shipped and marched the refugees to Germany.
They knew what they were doing, counted correctly, that the burden of Germanies history, would not allow Germany, to round up those refugees and send them back across the eastern borders, or ship them to the Netherlands.
Germany did the right thing, take them in, deal with them, live with them and than work on integrating them, the hardest job.
Than get the EU to secure its borders, which was done.
But reading you, my Dutch friend, Germany should just have let the trains roll day and night into your country, 1.5 million.
