Can we agree that the Arizona Audit is a joke?

I originally was not opposed to an audit in Arizona's Maricopa county, even though it had already been audited twice. Once was a manual recount of the ballots, the other time two independent election technology companies were hired to "Analyze hacking vulnerabilities of both the tabulation hardware and software.Verify that no malware had been installed to the tabulators.Determine if the tabulators had connected to the internet at any point before, during, or after the election. Assess if any vote switching had occurred as a result of the tabulators."
Now all of the people saying, "but that was the democrats". Maricopa county has 5 members of the board of supervisors. 4 of them are republicans. The Arizona senate is majority republican. So there is no 'the democrats' there. All those right wing 'news' sites that are gleefully posting the summons of the board of supervisors of maricopa county keep on conveniently 'forgetting' that 80% of them are republicans.
But now that I see how this 'audit' is being run, I see how finding any truth really never mattered one ounce. It is all about spreading innuendo, misinformation, and rendering our democracy fragile.
1) they hire a company that has openly declared it's allegiance with the CEO of company a 'stop the steal' advocate. This company has zero experience with this kind of work
2) Arizona senate completely underfunds audit (150000$? really?!? you thought you were going to get a proper audit for that type of money? Or did the senate know that they were going to get outside funding?) this gets filled in by HIGHLY partisan groups funding the effort
Now of course we see precisely what that gets you. The audit is going to be at least 6 weeks behind schedule with the ballots being moved twice to make way for Arizona graduation ceremonies.
More importantly despite the fact that CyberNinjas was supposed to count all ballots, and then a month later release its report, it has already started leaking information that is obviously only meant to sow discord amongst the American electorate. Seeing how the rabid right ran gleefully saying that the maricopa board of electors was in trouble (and they still do, still unaware that they are republicans) they can't help themselves from doing it again.
I don't see how any republican beleives that this is a good faith attempt to get a full recount to assuage the American voter.

 

Even republicans are starting to think it's a joke. These auditors are only re-counting the presidential and Senate race. Nothing else even those ballots were fake. So essentially fake ballots for Biden are wrong, but fake ballots for other races are fine.

Which election exactly (note that the "2020 Presidential Election" isn't really just one election)? How was it stolen exactly? Who stole it exactly? What evidence do you have to support these allegations (not evidence of flawed processes or mismatching data, evidence of the specific fraudulent behaviour you're alleging)

Great post, summing up this sham "audit". I had posted a few days ago that I would be surprised if this "audit" didn't find any "issues". After all, this "audit" is not really designed to find the truth, it is designed to further sow doubts with regard to the credibility of our electoral system. As a side effect, it fleeces gullible Trump supporters, who go to fundtheaudit.com and throw their good money after bad.

 

OK. so my first reflex is to respond "nuhn hunh" to your finely crafte post. But in a way you make a very salient point.
So you are a Trump fan who beleives the election was stolen. And here we have a perfect testing ground for you. THIS is going to be the great reveal. Maricopa went from Trump country in 2016 to a Biden win in 2020. So surely this is where we find the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of illegal Biden votes in Maricopa alone. We are not talking a few irregularities we are talking hundreds of thousands right? for the Trump math to work out (Biden has more than 8 million fraudulent votes).
And yet you display ZERO curiosity about the process. After all, they have been audited twice and found nothing. And for your narrative to work, they are going to have to find heaps and heaps and heaps of illegally added votes.
Which you are not finding, even with a partisan clown operation like cyber ninjas.
And at the end of the day, when they find that 2 boxes were mislabeled, 8 votes were fraudulent, and 9 piles of votes don't add up to the exact number, you're going to come here and say "see? election was stolen."

Why is Maricopa County still refusing to hand over the routers? If there's nothing to hide, why not just let the audit play out?

 

Counting votes is unbelievably simple, particularly with the help of computers. Counts aren't the issue. The validity of those ballots counted is the issue. You aren't going to determine that with a recount. I wouldn't support any recount. I would support real investigations.

we used our public library for voting here, many use schools, how many places need to send in their routers and hire people to replace them with new hardware

 

There's evidence. I think you mean proof. Proof is a hard thing to get. First you see a little smoke, and you suspect there is a fire, then you have to investigate.

 

How do you know the routers are still in use and weren't specifically a part of the election equipment?

The excuse they're giving is NOT that they need the routers, it's that the routers contain sensitive information, lol.

There must be something stored on the routers, because the specific reason Maricopa County is giving for NOT turning them over is that they contain 'sensitive information'. Not all routers are the same. Some maintain only temporary transitory data, others can be configured to retain all information that passes through it.
