    Really?
You are comparing a country with very high compliance with public health advice on how to reduce the spread of covid with the US and hoping to make some point about not mandating those measures?
    Epic fail.

Only in your tortured mind is it a failure.

This article demonstrates what the mainstream media will NOT discuss.

Just took a look at Worldometer for Sweden, and the daily new cases chart and the daily new deaths chart are absolutely astoundingingly good, good, good either looking straight at the charts or on a 7-day-moving-average. Total deaths chart flattening very well, too.

I expected to gaze upon okay charts, but not see super-good. And Sweden don't do nothing, just lives with it.

Any government that thinks they can control a hyper-communicable virus like COVID-1984 without an effective vaccine is out of their mind.

Just live with it because the fearful lockdowns did far more harm than good. Time to open every business, night club, bar, gym, and all sports, etc.

Get that vaccine and get it to market now.

Last I saw, 54% of Americans said they will not be taking the vaccine.

It seems Bill Gates has come across as less than trustworthy...

I myself will avoid having my RNA reprogrammed by the creator of Windows.

Does it mention the stuff you will NOT discuss? That Americans are not Swedes?

Nor Japanese, nor New Zealanders, nor Greeks, nor Vietnamese.

Trying to force people to do things was a mistake. Also, I worked all throughout and the Phase II requirements were more burdensome than the Phase I requirements and the Phase III burdens have caused some businesses to end all the Phase I and II perks like bonus pay, extended benefits if you get sick, etc.

If Gates himself was developing the vaccine, that might be a concern.

But several developers are having some success, we hope, and none are named "Bill Gates".

Given that most of these people who seem to think ANY vaccine is "evil", their credibility with any issues with vaccines is less than zero.

Since any immune system reaction does "RNA reprogramming", the whole anti-vax terror believers concept are confused.

And what did they get for that?

Sweden's gross domestic product took its largest tumble in a single quarter in modern history during the second quarter of this year, despite the country's decision to not shut down its economy.

The nation's GDP fell 8.6% during the three-month period ending in June, according to preliminary figures from Statistics Sweden.

    Denmark

    Sweden third place
The decrease of 5.2 percent of GDP means Denmark will face its largest economic decline since the 2008 global financial crisis when the economy was down 4.9 percent, according to TV2.

Yet Denmark fares slightly better than its neighbour, Sweden, whose economy is forecast to be the third best performer in the EU. The commission said that the Swedish economy will contract by 5.3 percent this year and grow by 3.1 percent next year

I agree. The economy has decreased about as much as Norway and Finland, and the death rate is much higher. Great Job!

Actually you do not know how bad it would have been if Sweden had shut down. Their COVID-1984 charts are absolutely beautiful doing nothing at all.

What you described will NOT be discussed by mainstream media, and there is a reason for that.

As for me, I will not be taking the vaccine, just as I have not taken the flu vaccine.

I doubt it will kill the girl, and I hope it will not have bad side effects for her. All the best for her efforts.

You completely miss the point. It’s not the compliance, these citizens are able to go out to the grocery with or without masks, small businesses weren’t crushed, private lives not attacked, everything a civil nation does that isn’t ran by dictators.

The only epic fail here is your lack of understanding the continued success of this fundamental, libertarian approach to the virus.

The numbers suggest that the virus is becoming less pathogenic as it mutates - something that was stated and predicted previously.

For example - in Sweden right now there are 69059 Active cases - 69024 are characterized as "Mild Condition" 35 are "Serious to Critical"

Not exactly the bubonic plague b - less than 1 in 2000 get really sick. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/sweden/

Over in Italy - once the hotbed of plague outbreak - 13,561 Active Cases -- 13512 "Mild" 49 - serious to critical.
