Divine explaination why Singaporeans are unhappiest people on Earth.

I think all humans, by creation, instinctively will realize that they will be judged upon death about their deeds: have they been honest, kind etc.

Majority of Singaporeans know that they will fail this test because they primarily worship money rather than God.

Most money they obtained by hook or by crook (mostly the latter considering environmental damage etc) is spent on themselves and due to their unhealthy and wasteful lifestyles, most Singaporeans, like other high GDP economy natives, realize that their nett effect on the Earth (creation) is negative and as such, they cannot avoid consciously or sub- consciously worrying about their after life: would they be very harshly judge, which level of hell will they end up upon inevitable death?

Bible also says: "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eye..."The eye of a needle, enter the kingdom of God.

It is thus my view that it is the deep sense of impending doom that causes many Singaporean to be unhappy and stressed out, even if themselves do not realize this cause. And it only gets worse as they grow older, since the bad karma just piles up, even if their bank account savings grows exponentially up.

In their quiet moments, many senior PAP leaders are also very unhappy people as well:

"If the annual salary of the Minister of Information, Communication and Arts is only $500,000, it may pose some problems when he discuss policies with media CEOs who earn millions of dollars because they need not listen to the minister's ideas and proposals. Hence, a reasonable payout will help to maintain a bit of dignity."

Singapore is very urbanized, high incomes compared to the rest of Asia but also very high cost of living. The feel of a rat race, have to keep working, no time to relax. Also the majority of the population is ethnic Chinese and may not be adapted to living in that hot muggy tropical climate. Singaporeans also adapted unhealthy Western style food early on, and that's contributed to a high rate of diabetes, likely much of the rest of the population has some blood sugar problems (undiagnosed) that may not be contributing to happiness.
A lot of competition living in a country that is basically a big urban city. We can't forget about the effect open space, or lack of it, has on happiness.
