    I just got a donation email from the Democrats. They are gearing up for a big battle... about what?

    Urr, if Republicans aren't on the side of the people and framing this as a blue takeover, then are they really a party worth voting for??? I notice they are still framing this action as another stolen-election/takeover of the government.

    What is the text of H.R. 1 for the 117th Congress?? Well, it's not up yet, but keep a watch at this spot:

    H.R.1 - To expand Americans' access to the ballot box, reduce the influence of big money in politics, strengthen ethics rules for public servants, and implement other anti-corruption measures for the purpose of fortifying our democracy, and for other purposes.

    The issues addressed in the legislation (at least the 2019 version) illustrates the ethical rot in our Congress.

    “You really mean they’ve got to write this down—codify it—to curb the behavior?“

    Read the legislation and that is the question you’ll be repeatedly asking yourself.

    Yes, they need to codify it. Using the thing until everyone is sick of it didn't work out, so the next step is legislation now that Dems carry the Congress and Presidency.

    Yup! Children under the age of 18 can register to vote.

    PROHIBITING USE OF DEEPFAKES IN ELECTION CAMPAIGNS​

    We badly need this reform considering technology is at the point where it can conjure up phantoms in an act of deception.
