Better late (64 years late in fact) than never. Almost a million jews were expelled from Arab/Muslim lands in the previous century. Their plight and their story remained untold and unknown to the public until now, including the fact that most of them were resettled in Israel without a single penny from the UN and other international organizations. I wonder why Arab states are so vehemently opposed to the conference. What are they trying to hide? Truth?

Actually the Jewish property was confiscated by the Arab nations, so shouldn't that money be used to compensate the Palestinians. You know we can't have our cake and eat it too? But the Jews shouldn't be the only problem, what about the Christians who were forced to leave the Arab nations out of fear of their lives? Shouldn't that be brought up at the U.N. as well?

I don't quite see Arabs accepting and reconciling themselves with this "compensation". Do you? They don't seem to want Jews in their lands and they don't want them in Israel either. The point is though, Jewish refugees have as much right to real compensation by the Arab states as Arab "refugees" have right to compensation by Israel...probably more so as Arabs fought against Israel while Jews in the arab world were innocent observers.
Arab Jews would still be in Egypt, Morocco, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, Libya and Lebanon if not for the European Zionists.

What do the Zionists have to do with the Christian lands the Arabs have been confiscating for centuries in the Middle East? As for the Jews, they have been in those lands just as long as the Christians, and probably even longer, so whatever money and land taken from them should be given to the Palestinians...that is if the Arabs really care for them? I think not though, because If they did, the Americans and Europeans wouldn't have had to feed them all these years.
