    Fried Chicken, I'm from the UK, we have fried chicken, in the UK I'm from South London (London's south side) and it's like land of the chicken shop.
    Many UK chicken shop franchises (literally too many to list) and one regional South London one called Morley's.
    A 'chicken shop' is UK talk for quick fast fried chicken.
    UK KFC advert addressing UK chicken shop culture;

    We have KFC, but we don't have Popeye's.

    I went to Amsterdam, NL and saw a Kentucky Fried Chicken (No acronym in sight, words spelt out in this name and everything, I've never seen that before); went back there 6 months later, found a 'nicer cleaner' version of a UK chicken shop randomly in Amsterdam (world city, why not)? - went in / ate there, every customer were Brits fresh of some boat like me.


    What's fried chicken like where you are?

    I went to a KFC in South Korea in the 80's. It was actually rabbit.

    In the UK we eat fried chicken with ketchup.
    I told an American this and he thought that was odd.
    Said something like 'ketchup's for burgers and hotdogs'...
    I then asked him if he heard of burger sauce, he had not.

    Also, I like my chicken nuggets (breaded/oven cooked) with Sriracha Hot Chili sauce and a splash of soy sauce.

    Barely, my town had one then closed.
    Taco Bell returned to the UK recently though, London used to have one and Taco Bell's popping up all over the UK including my town, which is cool.


    Also, Burger Sauce, it's not uncommon for a chicken shop to serve burger sauce; so, even though it's burger sauce; people have it with their chicken & chips too.

    I don't know any Fish & Chip shop that's also a chicken ship; but I know many chicken shops that also serve burgers (beef and chicken) and ribs.
    I like different condiments for different things but it's normal in the UK to eat fried chicken with ketchup.

    I don't eat ketchup at all. If you find a Wendy's their chili sauce is real good with nuggets. Very spicy.
