Let's get down to serious business now.

Looks like that's what 53 members of the House are saying with this missive. Too bad everything Obama kicked under the rug until after the election is still here waiting for him. Before it's all over, I bet Barack wishes he was basking on the beach in Hawaii instead of back sitting in DC's hot seat. He's got a LOT of 'splainin do do... starting with this:

53 House Members Demand of Obama: Were Pre-9/11/12 Benghazi Bombings in Presidential Daily Briefs?
    November 6, 2012

(CNSNews.com) – Fifty-three House members are demanding to know whether the April 6, 2012 and June 6, 2012 bomb-attacks on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya were immediately included in the President’s Daily Brief. These bombing attacks occurred before the fatal Sept. 11 terrorist attack that killed U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens and 3 other Americans.

“When was President Obama made aware of these two attacks on the Benghazi compound?” the letter asked. “Were these two attacks included in the President’s Daily Brief immediately after the attacks took place?”

The Presidential Daily Brief is a daily national security and intelligence report provided to the president each morning by the Director of National Intelligence. It is the foundation of national security briefings.

The letter was sent to Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and signed by 53 House members on Nov. 2.

The letter, circulated by Rep. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.) is in response to ongoing questions surrounding the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the Benghazi compound. That deadly attack came after 230 security incidents in Libya, 48 of which happened in Benghazi from June 2011 to July 2012, the House letter said, citing the U.S. Embassy in Libya’s Regional Security Office.

“On April 6, a bomb was thrown over the wall of the U.S. compound in Benghazi, causing some damage to an interior wall,” the letter states. “The attackers were a contract guard and a former contract guard who had been recently dismissed for gross misconduct, specifically, for putting graffiti on U.S. government property.”

“On June 6, an attacker placed a bomb on the ledge of the compound’s perimeter wall, creating a large crater in the perimeter wall that was described as ‘big enough for 40 men to go through,’” the letter states.

The letter went on to ask about security at the consulate and when President Obama knew about the previous attacks.

“What role did Ambassador Stevens’ assessment of the security environment in Libya, the large number of security incidents, and their increase in sophistication and coordination play in the Department of State’s security decision with respect to the U.S. compound in Benghazi?” reads the letter. “When was President Obama made aware of these two attacks on the Benghazi compound? Were these two attacks included in the President’s Daily Brief immediately after the attacks took place?”

The letter referenced two cables from Stevens in which the ambassador asked the State Department for increased security in the region. On July 9, Stevens wrote, “Conditions in Libya have not met prior benchmarks established by Post, the Department [of State], and AFRICOM, for a complete drawdown of TDY [temporary duty].”

On Aug. 2, barely more than a month before he was killed, Stevens wrote the State Department, “the security condition in Libya remains unpredictable, volatile and violent.”

CNSNews.com asked the White House over the phone and in an e-mail message if the April 6 and June 6 attacks were part of the President’s Daily Brief. The White House did not respond as of press time.

There are some idiots that still think this is a non issue. I wonder how many of them would volunteer to replace Stevens knowing what they know about obama now.

Gotta wonder if ANYBODY will volunteer for a job like Stevens had. Knowing your Commander has better things to do than worry about your safety... only a fool would sign up to serve.

He'll just execute Executive Privilege again. It's not like his followers will care.

I think America is in for a very difficult four years as things close in on it domestically and externally. America is going to experience a series of terrible events. Recession is coming and living standards are going to decline.

just like 911, it happened on Obama's watch, he is as responsible for the terrorists actions as bush was for their actions on 911

sure the terrorists are happy with the actions of the 911 truthers as well as the new truthers

Let's see how much fun you're having when Obama is forced to disclose why he refused to give security to our consulate staff, why he let those men die, and why he lied about it afterwards.

This is irrelevant as they had roughly six hours to send in response teams that were waiting and ready to go. Otherwise why the hell else do we have special operations teams?

You also don't seem to want to hold the Obama Admin accountable. What a surprise. /sarcasm.

Haven't you learned anything? Elections only count if the GOP win.

Actually even then they don't count because then the GOP Presidents are denounced as RINOs.

Elections are actually a communist plot to rob the rich.

Except in the case of half the conservatives who post on this board that doesn't make sense as they are low grade public sector workers posting from work, leeching off taxpayers money as us liberals actually do all the work that makes the capitalist world go round! Us corporate elitists...

Now. Fun's over for me 'cos I have to finish gloating about the humiliation of a those who have been proclaiming the certainty of the muslim communist being utterly routed.....and go and prepare for my meeting with shareholders tomorrow... but then maybe the Americans won't turn up and I can have a lie in, after all they will be going home now to barricade themselves intot heir homes as Armageddon approaches....

And these extremists dfont give a toss about the four liberals who were killed in Benghazi. I know. I started a thread on it and they derided them. Try searching for it. At least SMW paid lip service to them, but the rest of the shower of neo fascists on here just dismissed them out of hand.

To be sure, the embassy security budget has been under the knife for years. “During both the latter years of the Bush presidency and throughout the Obama presidency, the administration has recommended boosting spending on foreign aid and [State Department] foreign operations, including security, and Congress has always cut it back,” Philip Crowley, a former State Department spokesman under President Obama, told the Washington Times in late September.

The Worldwide Security Protection program (WSP), which the government says provides "core funding for the protection of life, property, and information of the Department of State," and a separate embassy security and construction budget, which in part improves fortifications, have both been under fire.

"In 2011 they came in and passed a continuing resolution for the remainder of that fiscal year. The House proposed $70 million cut in the WSP and they proposed a $204 million cut in Embassy security," says Mr. Lilly. "Then the next year, fiscal 2012, they cut worldwide security by $145 million and embassy security by $376 million. This year's bill is the same thing all over again. The House has cut the worldwide security budget $149 million below the request."

Albert. Move house. This is not happening in the real world. The USA is emerging from a recession caused by the GOP. If your part of lumpenproletarian America is going to miss this then move.

We'll cross that bridge when we get there. Today is reserved for all to point fingers and laugh at all the "know-it-all" rightwing hacks that have been bullying around Obama supporters for months calling them idiots for not realizing that Romney was going to kick Obama's ass this election. The oppertunity to throw in their faces, that they are so full of poo-poo that their eyes are brown, is just too good to pass up. An oppertunity to point out to them the propaganda they have been spoon fed by their right wing circle jerker's is BS to the highest degree and always was to begin with. To bring to the forefront their lying ways. To point out to them they are OUTSIDE of America's mainstream in political expression instead of being "true Americans" as they like to believe.

Besides, with the election behind us, I suspect all those rightwing sore losers will soon give that Benghazi spew a break now that it no longer serves their purpose to politicize it.

Notice that not one of the Liberals here will deal with the actual content and event.

    Undisputed FACTS about Libya:

    • We had our consulate attacked on 9/11 and were warned prior.
    • Britain pulled their ambassador out from the warnings and perceived danger.
    • We had our ambassador begging for security prior.
    • We had U.S. Navy SEALS who were nearby get radio transmission of the terrorist attack and ask for permission to go help. They were denied (3) Times. The disobeyed the order after the 3rd denial.
    • The U.S. Navy Seals took U.S. rooftop positions and battled off the terrorists for over 7 hours before dying. The constantly throughout that time radio transmitted for help. It never came and they were left to die with the ambassador.
    • The U.S. Navy Seals had lasers which "paint" a target so smart bombs are hit within 1 foot. They confirmed that they had the targets "painted".
    • Had the U.S. Navy Seals that disobeyed orders not showed up, it is estimated that another 30 U.S. staff would have been murdered.
    • Barack Obama was informed within 1 hour of the 7 hour attack.
    • Barack Obama never convened the situation room with his top military minds for solutions.
    • Barack Obama, Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, and Jay Carney all went out publicly and told the U.S. people that this was a protest over a Youtube video trailer of a movie that no one watched. (That is a lie.)
    • Barack Obama flew the next day to Las Vegas to raise money and party.

The #1 rule for American military is that we don't leave our guys behind. You do not do it. It breaks my heart to think of the betrayal that had to be going through the U.S. Navy SEALS minds as they heroically fought for over 7 hours against a greater force, with better weapons, in the dark after saving over 30 U.S. Staff. They were left behind to die. They knew how to win the battle and were denied support to do so.

These dead Americans are mere "bumps in the road". They are about as important as wet, freezing people in New York. They can't vote for Obama.
