Lets leave DACA and the illegal occupation of our cities by Mexicans out of this discussion.

That's right, this is what the Dempcrat's government shut down is about, awarding amnesty to illegal aliens.

For the most part I agree with you. However, that has nothing to do with the topic of the shutdown. The only one who voted "no" for the size of the budget was Paul and Lee - and there is no budget either will ever vote for. Their speel is being Mr. No to everything unless exactly what they want, meaning they are all but worthless in Congress. He father was the same way, unable to accomplish anything, ever.

And then we all could live like N. Koreans do. You ready to live on 700 calories of crap food a day? Find eating grass tasty do you?

I disagree. In fact, their logic was quite the opposite of what you're claiming.

Here. Let the man speak for himself...

As far as Ron's accomplishments, it must be acknowleged that freedom simply isn't popular. It hasn't been popular in a long time. Almost a hundred years. And quite frankly it isn't even understood anymore. It isn't taught anymore. If nothing else, it should be understood that he's likely the Thomas Jefferson of our time. It's no wonder the media completely blacked us out during the campaigns and chose to advertise the statists on both the left and right nstead.

But he gave us Rule #40. Which gave us Trump instead of another Clinton or another Bush. We changed the course of history. Who else could change the course of history with a handful of misfits and never hear a peep uttered about it, huh? Come on, you know who.

    https://ballotpedia.org/Rule_40_and_its_impact_on_the_2016_Republican_National_Convention

He got an Electoral Vote in 2016, too, without even running. Ha. So let it not be said that we did nothing.

In the interest of fairness, however, I do welcome all to watch and learn on his channel. After all, education is what is most important now. And watching the talking heads on the telivision is not where it's going to happen. It just isn't.

Why would we all have to eat grass?

The only thing Ron Paul did is make himself a cult leader and get a massive pile of money for himself out of it.

The video you present is Ron Paul is absurd. He says "the Democrats and Republicans" would accept HIS plan. The next thing he says is the Democrats immediately told him NO - contradicting what he said. That is the nonsense he talks. He then proceeded to explain how he is against anything Republicans, Trump or Democrats have proposed. His view is always the same. Everyone has to do exactly what he wants or he will vote no.

You want the same concept of a military as N. Korea. Pure isolationism.

The USA became rich by being a kickass country, including militarily. Probably you believe YOU should have all the USA offers you in terms of wealth and safety because you are inherently entitled to more than everyone elsewhere in the world. Your's is a purely naive viewpoint.

    No, I don't want isolationism. You're wrong.

What makes you people think the military won't get paid?

    Nope.

"Dreamers" by definition are those who were brought as children, but have no legal status. To be in the military you must be a legal US Resident.

    Nice try though.

    That happened to us once.

Our bus broke down when we were going from the Coronado Amphibious Naval Base back to Camp Pendleton. Broke down somewhere in enemy territory in San Diego. No money, no food, dressed in our Charlies.

No lunch, no dinner and by the time we got back to Las Pulgas even the NCO and EM clubs were secured. Didn't even have a freaking quarter to buy a stinking chile dog from the vending machine.

a large portion of that attributable to military wastage - this can easily be avoided by closing down the corporate welfare military industrial complex

Yep, if that's what it comes to. Remember, "it's not a job, it's an adventure."

Then again for eons armies pay was whatever pillage and booty they could capture. A military as heavily armed as ours is won't be starving, one way or another.

No money saved. And you are simply moving them from being paid to welfare and unemployment.

Why do so few seem to understand that when people talk about making people leave the military, you are really laying them off?
